Hertz C 165 16,5cm bass-Midrange driver, 70W, 4 Ohm, 55Hz - 7kHz ~ Cento Series ~

I bought these to replace the faulty Dynaudio door woofers in my 2008 Volvo XC90, which are very expensive to buy and fail from oxidation on the solder joints between the braids and the aluminium voice coil wire. Only 2 screw holes line up (there's 4 holes on these and 6 on the Dynaudio) but it was a simple matter of making 2 new holes in the plastic shroud on the door. A couple of short wires with connectors for the speaker terminals have to be fabricated, the other ends soldered or otherwise connected to the terminals in the door.Obviously they sound different to the originals, but not in a bad way. The bass response extends deeper, and as my car has no subwoofer, that's no bad thing. I actually like them better than the originals!Very good value, nice sounding woofers. Hopefully this helps someone with a similar age Volvo with duff woofers.

Stunning quality for the money. Bass response is much tighter than my previous Hertz speakers. Install them correctly and you'll love them.

Do not get "used like new" on these or you might end up with what you can see in the picture.
