If you put it on the floor or a kid steps on the strap you will have to clean/wash, thus I would not recommend. Review: Looks small but it is a huge space inside - I was so anxious to receive this diaper bag because I have 3 daughters and waiting for my fourth one, after 3 kids you understand that it is not necessary a huge diaper bag, this one is perfect, there is a pocket for everything that you need, and it is a excelent because you can washed it if gets dirty. There is a lots pockets in different areas, and I add a bubba bottle of water with 30oz and fits perfectly. I am getting another one, so I have a daily one and the other to go to church. I loved it and totally recommend it.

Looks small but it is a huge space inside
