In the interest of full disclosure, I am new to cake decorating. WEith that said, I always look for professional kitchen supplies because I hate wasting my money. This bag is the bomb! I used it last night and it was so easy to use. I frosted a two layer 9" cake (two colors), and this 14" bag seemed a bit big, but worked just fine. I think I'm going to buy a couple smaller bags to have on hand; I need them anyway for multiple frosting colors. The coating on the inside works!! It was easy to frost and cleanup was a breeze. I took the advice of another reviewer that said to clean up while the frosting is still soft, so I did. A little hot water and soap. Done. This bag does not need couplers. Of course, being that I'm a newbie, I bought some when I bought the bag. You can use them, but you'll have to cut part of the bag off so that the hole is larger and the coupler fits properly. I didn't want to do that so I gave it a go at just using the tips I had. It worked perfectly. No drips, no mess. I used the standard size tips that came with my last (unfortunate) purchase of a frosting kit that broke after a few uses. To sum up, look no further - if you want a quality product, but this piping bag. It's great!

I have always loved Wilton... Used their products for years as well as being raised myself my a mother who used them. I was in need of a new bag, as my Wilton frosting bag (after more than 20 years of use) finally separated at the seam. So, back to my trusted brand I went. This was all I could find from my beloved brand, and to my sadness, it is not canvas... it is plastic. I knew that when I ordered it, but still decided to give it a shot. It is still a good product... so it gets four stars. It is easy to clean, the ring and ends stay put well enough, and it does seem pretty sturdy... However.... I prefer holding onto fabric. I feel like this plastic one, as well as other cheap ones, slip too much when you are trying to do precision work. Especially if your hands are at all wet. I did finally find a canvas set and orded them. I prefer working with them because of this one downfall. I fell like this was a huge letdown from a favorite company.

Bought this and some Wilton large tips. Have used it 2 times with my grandson to decorate cupcakes. Worked great and I was able to wash it out for reuse. One thing to note is that I had to trim the end of the bag to work with the large metal decorating tips. I think this is normal, as the bag needs to accommodate smaller tip sizes as well. Seems like it will hold up for a good while.

I love this 18" Featherweight bag, it's a much better size for me than a 12". I never wanted to use decorating bags because they're messy to fill, and I thought reusable bags would be hard to clean, particularly when I'm using my sticky marshmallow frosting. But using the Saran/cling wrap trick to make an icing "plug" (do a search and you'll find better instructions than I can give here) makes this 18" decorating bag easy to fill, and easy to clean. The only downside to this bag is I have to use a coupler. I tried using this bag with a large tip (I didn't have a large coupler at the time) and pushing it into the bag as far and hard as I could, but the material of the bag doesn't grip the metal tip. As soon as I stopped pushing on the tip, the tip would move up back into the bag, leaving the hole open. I tried angling the icing-filled Saran Wrap into the bag "just so" in the hopes the Saran Wrap would find its way into the tip and push it back into the hole. But, no luck. So, you've got to have a coupler, that's the only downside I can see to this bag. If I have any longevity issues with the decorating bag, I'll be sure to update.
