Hasbro Scrabble Deluxe Edition

This deluxe scrabble is well worth the money, as a scrabble fan of many years when I first used this deluxe version on holiday recently I was so impressed with it that I had to buy one immediately even though I already have 2 scrabbles!! I love the way the whole thing turns around making it so easy to play on opposite sides of the table, the board just opens up and you are ready to go, the tiles and the tile trays are conveniently stored in drawers under the board. The best thing of all is the ridges on the board that stop the tiles from moving if the board is accidently knocked during play and when you have finished with it you put every thing away in the drawers and simply fold the board, it is held in place magnetically. All in all a brilliant user friendly very convenient version of this popular board game.

We saw this product on a cruise and found that the exact product was available from Amazon. It is compact but big enough and contains all you need to play. The packaging was thorough and the goods arrived quickly and in perfect condition at the right price. It's rugged plastic casing makes fine for travelling or use at home.

I like this set because the whole thing is a case as well so that there is no box to break. It has handy little drawers for the wooden letters and the racks and instructions.

After playing with this set for a couple of games I would hate to go back to a standard board! The board swivels nicely, tiles don't slip and it all packs away into itself into a neat carry case. Excellent

Good design, drawers to keep all the pieces in. Great for travelling. Unfortunately the wooden letter tiles feel a bit cheap compared to the ones in original scrabble. Apart from that, it's great.

Extremely light and portable. The only problem is the colours of the premium squares are odd, and the tiles are not tournament tiles.

Nicely made. Tiles hopeless. Have made racks heavier by internal weighting. Board colours would be better in original Scrabble hues
