Human Anatomy & Physiology (7th Edition) 7th Edition

The Marieb-Hoehn text is, what I feel to be, one of the best introductory anatomy and physiology textbooks to date. It is a very basic text, and I frequently use it as a reference guide. I purchased this book as a refresher for my biology courses, and now I consider it an essential part of my education. Perfect for Human Biology majors. I love this older version as compared to the newer because they are very similar and it only cost me four dollars. Beat that, 8th edition.My one negative about this book is the cover. From a distance it looks like I'm obsessed with tennis. Maybe, Pearson books, lets have a cover with some spark. A human heart, or some crazy molecular shit like they have on some chemistry texts. Now we're talking.

If you are looking to save money, this is the book for you. It is the same as the newer editions... yes, you do not get the atlas, but with so many youtube videos and anatomy websites you don't really need it. Take advantage of the technologyy available today and save your money. I found the anatomy websites and youtube videos VERY helpful specially for the lab,I got together with classmates and made our own youtubechannel IT HELPS. I am updating this review after using this book two semesters and passing both classes with an A. I used this book for anatomy (spring 2012) and physiology (fall 2012). Other than the pages being in different order the book is the same as the newer editions. I believe the new editions have a corrected picture and that's about it. I did well using this old edition and YouTube videos.PS the youtube channel interactive biology is one of the best!

Bought for school

Oh my Gosh !!!! This book is amazing. I couldn’t afford for the new one.. I kept asking myself what will I do ?... surprisingly.l, I saw this edition on Amazon used . The price 🤗🤗just ended my nightmare. The most important part is that it has all the information I needed for my course. The condition was still very new and excellent. I am glad with this purchase. It has helped me save more money to purchase my remaining textbook

I bought this textbook per the recommendation of my professor. She said that a cross-reference textbook can be really helpful so I hit up Amazon to see if I could find a cheap one. I think I paid $4 for this textbook between the book and shipping...awesome deal! Has highlights and is clearly used, but hey...for an A&P textbook...that is still an awesome deal!For A&P students: I find that this book breaks down topics really nicely and words things in an easy-to-understand way. Definitely recommend!

Great quality

This book saved my but in my anatomy and physiology class. The author did an excellent job in organization and explainations. I learn best by reading and this book was authored well and the explanations were perfect for my transition into the medical profession.

20$ 6th edition vs 120$ 7th edition.It's a great book, and very similar to the newer editions I would recommend it to anyone interested in physiology or anatomy.

Its what you need to know... in the best way I've seen it delivered in any physiology book.
