Ride Along Dolly Doll Bicycle Seat Bike Seat (Purple) with Decorate Yourself Decals (Fits Standard Sized Dolls and Stuffed Animals) - Purple

We purchased this along with the doll helmet for a birthday party of a friend. It was such a hit we used it again for a neighbor's kid. She was thrilled and then when the kids rode bikes together my girls complained that they didn't have their own so Santa brought them for my kids this year. The seat is solid plastic and shaped so that the doll will sit up and look like she's enjoying her ride, not flopping around. The velcro band keeps the doll from falling out and the kids can do themselves. Seat comes in pink and purple (this is for purple but we have bought both) and quality is the same. Kids really liked having stickers to decorate the seats. I found it easy to install and it stays secure. Cheap gift that gets used regularly if you have bike riders! (-:

There were several posts about it not fitting. It is a tight fit to install it, but it definitely does not interfere with the breaks at all on her bike. The screw they provided didn't fit into the hole on her bike so we had to spend another $1 buying a new screw and nut. My daughter LOVES this thing. She takes her dolls out for rides ALL the time.

My daughter is doll obsessed! She would take her baby dolls everywhere if I let her. This bike seat was a birthday gift for her and I think it was her favorite. She loved decorating it with the stickers and was so excited to take her baby for a ride on the back of her bike.It was easy enough to assemble and stayed on well. Would definitely recommend for any little doll lovers. Not super fancy or detailed, but works just as intended.

I got this for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas and she couldn’t wait to put it on her bike. Came quick, as described, easy to install and fits most dolls. I would buy again.

Cute seat but cheap. The seat is a little really flimsy and our daughter's American Girl size dolls do not fit easily or stay strapped in. Works ok for a 5yr old, but have to be careful.

No way should you put an American Girl doll or any other item you care about in this thing. I'm really surprised it had as many stars as it does.To begin, this does not come in a box. It will arrive in a plastic bag. If you're giving this as a gift, you will want to consider spending a few dollars more on a box to make it gift-worthy.Second, I would question the value of the "Creative Child Top Toy" award. I could find no record of any Top Toy awards for this product. Instead, I found a website that instructs a seller to submit two samples and a sum of money to be entered into a "Creative Child Awards Program". The legitimacy of any award on this product should be met with suspicion.Third, This is a very small seat. American Girl dolls are TOO BIG for this seat. The standard 18" doll without rigid legs may fit in this seat, but American Girl dolls do not. I suspect that the seller is grasping on to the success and quality of another product to boost their own reputation. There should be no illusion that these two products go together. Again, these dolls do not fit.Lastly, fit and finish is rough. The stamped metal hardware is not formed in the correct shape to attach to the plastic seat. You will be required to mount a flat surface to a round surface and screw them together. You will need to use your own discretion when tightening the screws. Too loose and it will rattle around and likely fall off the bicycle. Too tight and the seat will deform or break. I would be surprised if the Manufacturer actually was in possession of the parts when they were packaged sold. The most simple quality control inspection would have noticed the parts do not fit.I really thought that there was no way you could lose for the price I paid. If you want to use your doll as a bicycle mud-guard, I'd say go for it. I would not place anything of value in it.

Just make sure your bike has the screw hole to attach this. Attaching is a little awkward...but doable. Just be patience. My kids love it but they do have to swing their foot higher and wider to clear the carrier. It's worth it to see the joy they get taking their toys for a bike ride.
