Metal Dust Pan and Brush Set Soft Bristle Wooden Broom Heavy Duty Pan Portable Size

This is s good, sturdy dustpan with a good brush. Great for sweeping away small dust and dirt. We got it for use around the fireplace, and it works well. The size is easily manageable. It's a great value for the money.

I have been so sick of trying to use standing plastic dustpans, the posture required to use them is super uncomfortable to me as it puts pressure on the abdomen. I missed using a handheld tiny dustpan and broom as a kid, and remembered seeing ones hanging in old shops, so this was the best thing I found when I searched with those in mind. Unfortunately, I can't see the listing I bought it from anymore, so I don't know if anyone even sees this review? But anyway, I'm just using it as my regular indoor dustpan and it works great! Love the materials, it hangs fine, looks pretty, colors are nice, no problems with function at all. It's much better physically to get on the floor and collect what you've swept up IMO, and you can actually see what you're doing. Thanks for this! (Yes it's small, but I knew that and don't have any issues with the size)

This set is perfect for cleaning up around the wood stove. The metal dustpan is safe for hot coals and ash, and it's small enough to fit in the corners when cleaning out the firebox. I never thought of a dustpan and whisk broom as being cute, but these absolutely are. Also, the dustpan looks white inside, but it's all silver (all metal) as it should be. And the little broom is well made and holding up nicely.

Brush is fantastic but dust pan's metal is a bit thin. I wish it would have been sturdier, but it will do the job I purchased this item for. Needed something to brush up wood crumbs and occasional ashes from the brick hearth. Works well getting wood crumbs pout of brink pointing.

It's hard to find a metal dustpan nowadays and this is a beautiful neutral color. It really is the best buy with the included brush. It's amazing how often I use a a handbrush and dustpan in my house. I was glad to find this at the affordable cost.

I never thought I'd be writing a review for a dustpan, but here we are.... OK, first the good. The dustpan has a simple, classic design. It feels sturdy, with solid construction. It is large enough without being oversized; heavy, but not too heavy. The brush is good as well. Yes, the bristles are a bit on the soft side as others have said, but I don't think that will be a problem. Now, the not so good. On closer inspection of the dustpan, I noticed scratches, pockmarks and chips in the finish (I've attached a couple of photos). Nothing major, but still, not something you want, either. There are chips and scratches on the lower left corner which are missing paint, exposing the metal underneath, and I've read that can lead to further chipping and also rust. Anyway, I've decided to return it for a replacement. Hopefully there will be no problems with this one. If there aren't any, I will keep it and update my review. Otherwise, I will have to ask for a refund. I just wanted to add the order was very well packed by Amazon, which hasn't always been the case lately. UPDATE: Well here's my long-awaited update. I received the replacement on Thursday, June 12. The box was in good condition. I was kind of hesitant to open it though, for fear it night be worse than the original, so I set the box aside for a while. Then I started to feel silly and just opened the damn thing it up. I was a little annoyed that it came with a brush, since there was nothing wrong the previous one, but I guess since it's a set that's just how it's packaged. I gave the dustpan a quick lookover. Hmm, seemed to be OK. Definitely better than the original one. Didn't see any chips or scratches in the paint...but what's this? (as the narrator on Batman might say). A metal burr on the hook hole? Yep. I rubbed my finger over it just to see if it was sharp enough to break the skin. Nope. Just a little thing. Actually, I'm not even sure it was metal or just a blob of paint. I thought I could scratch it off with my fingernail, but no. I'm sure a Dremel tool could've taken care of it in a few seconds, but I don't own one and have intention of buying one, at least not now. So, I got out my nail clippers (which I purchased from Amazon years ago and are very good quality) and I was able to pretty much clip it off. There's a little nub leftover, but nothing to get worked up about. Also, on further inspection, I did notice a few other minor things, but nothing major. I may get some touch up paint though. Anyway, I decided to keep this one, rather than return it for a refund. My final verdict: though this dustpan is an improvement on the first one, I still can't give it any more than three stars. If it wasn't for the lackluster paint job, and other quality control issues, I might've given it 4 or even 5 stars. And so it goes. (I included two new photos: one of the hook hole and another miscellaneous scratch on the handle)

As others have said, it is quite small, but built of sturdy materials and well constructed. I would imagine if not abused it could easily last a lifetime. I agree with the review that said it was not stainless steel but rather it is nicely coated mild steel. I believe it will be absolutely perfect as a counterbrush to clean the stray flower and seeds and crumbs from the food contact surfaces in the kitchen and from the table linens on the dining table. I'm going to use it for just that so that it stays sanitary. Although, technically it would have to be made in Japan to be a Shuro broom and this one is clearly marked made in China, it is absolutely a quality product. The very same big palms and windmill palms that have been used for centuries are native to both China and Japan. I'm sure the broom bristles are authentic; they are very fine and don't create any static electricity so it's extremely well suited for sweeping and collecting extremely fine dust like pastry flour. I couldn't be happier with this product.

Bought this for my Mum as she really wanted one for when she's baking. It's surprisingly well made for such a low price. Very sturdy, yet lightweight and it LOOKS wonderful. You can display it proudly. I'm going to buy another one for myself to keep my coffee station tidy.

This is small and exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy. Quite rustic and attractive next to our fireplace. Perfect for keeping the stray dirt cleaned up around the front of the fire area. Love it.

Needed to replace our garage dust pan and brush and in quite happy with this set! Seems like it will last a long time.

When I first opened the parcel, I was disappointed with the size as it was smaller than I imagined. However having used it, it was much better than expected and really perfectly sized. I have also found it good for scrapping off drops of wax which splash onto the laminate floor. Much better than the plastic dustpan and brushes.
