Fishpond Green River Gear Bag, Granite

Bought a very expensive backpack to use as a boat bag but it just didn’t fit. Unstable and fell over. Purchased this bag for the same purpose and it works great. Much better access to multiple pockets and sits very stable on floor or seats. I carry it from the boat into restaurants and have been asked several times where I bought it. Well made bag and highly recommended!

As always, Fishpond made another great bag. This one is great for both bringing all your gear, and also for putting in a raft. Although the bag itself is not waterproof, it was a nice deep waterproof bottom, so unless you are getting swamped or in heavy rain, your gear will be fine. Mine easily holds three reels, three small fly boxes as well as one Large boat box of flies along with all the tippet, hooks, indicators, etc. It has endless pockets and pouches. Well designed bag.

Nicest gear bag I have ever owned. REALLY well built and well thought out. A bit pricey but worth every penny! I highly recommend this bag to any fly fisherman!

Super happy with the bag. I seams really tough. I’ve had this for a week or so and I keep finding new pockets. If you watch the short video they have it pretty much says it all. The only complaint is that it’s heavy on one side so it tends to tip over. If you slide a rod in the straps provided it really tips over. If those straps were on the opposite side would be better in my opinion, not only would it help from tipping over the rod and straps would be out of the way. I wouldn’t let that detour me from buying it. It’s an awesome bag and a no brainer.

Well built, solid fly fishing bag. Holds all my gear and flies, could not be more pleased.
