This is a non-returnable item, so be sure you note that the size is only 1 oz. The standard sized tubes of Goop are nearly 4oz. This is a bad deal. For a couple of dollars more you can get nearly 4 times as much.

I love this stuff! But wish I’d of looked at description better. Was so used to buying the standard size but was surprised when I received this eye dropper sized glue.

It adheres effectively to most surfaces including rubber, glass, finished wood, most hard plastics and is very tough and durable once it has cured. I just used it on my rubber snow boots and on the soles of running shoes, very satisfied with its performance but patches on the bottoms of running shoes do, some times, come loose. Be sure to clean items to be glued thoroughly with alcohol, brake parts cleaner of some other organic solvent cleaning agent. I found that I can sculpt the patch before it has set with a moist finger and even add a bit more adhesive to the original patch and then sculpt it again with a moist finger without any adverse effects such as the additional patch not adhering to the original patch.

This is a commonly sold brand found at the local hardware store in a 3 oz tube. I got slightly fooled when I bought this on Amazon as the picture of this 1 oz tube looks the same as the 3 oz tube. The Amazon listing is correct and the picture is correct but a photo of the 1 oz tube will look nearly identical to a 3 oz tube.The key issue here is that if you don't read the small print carefully it will look like you are buying a 3 oz sized tube and so the price will seem reasonable. When in fact it's a bit high. The price you are paying here for a 1 oz sized tube of goop adhesive is the same price you will pay for a 3 oz tube at Lowes or Home Depot. So this is a poor value for the money.I ended up kind of stuck with 1 oz tube after receiving in the mail because the return shipping would defeat any savings from trying to get it from Lowes or Home Depot. So I'm just writing this review as a slight "buyer beware" to look at the small print on the size of the tube. Be aware that you can get a tube that 3x larger for about the same price from your local hardware store.

this is be best way to repair soles in sneakers and topsiders - keep those shoes running for another season. great value, great product.
