Champion Women's 4" Mesh Short (Retired Colors)

I love these shorts! They are very attractive looking and they're very comfortable to wear. Plus, the mesh material makes them cool - perfect for a good workout. But watch out for the sizing. These are advertised as women's shorts, in which I normally wear a large or even an extra large. And Amazon said that large would be the best size for me. However, when they arrived I went swimming in them! I returned them and got a medium, which fit me perfectly. I like them so much I bought more pairs - in different colors.

These shorts are perfect for warm weather, lounging, and casual style. They are so comfortable and lightweight. I am between Size M & L in pants and ordered and XL because I have the shorter Mesh pair in XL. These do not run the same as the shorter inseam ones and fit true to size. These are a great price and I would 100% recommend

These shorts were just what I wanted to replace a pair of mesh reversible shorts that I've owned for many years. These fit just right--not too large or too small, not too short and not too long. I always struggle to find shorts that aren't so long that they make me hot, while still keeping me modest. I think these fit the bill. They are also loose enough to move without being baggy. They are reversible, but I doubt I'll reverse them much. The inner color shows the white Champion waistband and the bottom hem is the opposite color. The inner color is a solid fabric, where the outer is the mesh with little holes. My only "complaint" is that the hula blue is really more purple than blue. Still, it's very attractive and will work fine with my t-shirts. I just ordered two more pairs. Also very pleased with quick shipping from seller.

My pregnancy shorts!!!!! I live in Southern California and there really was no way I could have survived my pregnancy by wearing anything other than these shorts. They are super breathable, have such a comfortable elastic that has grown with me thru my entire pregnancy, and really have been a life saver. I am 5'2" 140 lbs to begin with, however I packed on heavy in the hips during my pregnancy and the Large size have really stuck in there with me. They still have a nice flowy fit as seen on the model, but the elastic waist has given way to my growth. The length is nice and modest, hitting mid thigh so I don't ever feel like I am over exposed. I wear these shorts to the gym, to lounge around the house, and pair them with a comfortable tee to run errands with my husband. I loved them so much that I went ahead and ordered 3 more pairs and made them my go to staple.

I have purchased many of these, Champion Women's 4" Mesh Shorts, in the past. Mostly black with a couple other colors now and then. This one, retired color fuchsia, I did not like. Was more of an ugly berry color. BUT most of all, I HATE the new waistband that Champion has put in all their shorts. It is stiff with little stretch and they no longer fit the same. They are bunchy around the entire waist.

I am in love with these shorts. They are soft and loose and the band isn't too tight or itchy or any of the other problems I've experienced with other mesh shorts. The length is perfect to be a causal, sporty short but short enough that it is clearly made for women. The fabric is very light and even after a few washes, it still hasn't pilled up like many other mesh shorts I've had (I am careful with drying them, however). These shorts are great to run errands in, hang around the house on a hot day, or go to the gym in. I love them so much, I am about to buy another pair after writing this review.

Stick to your normal size.. These are so comfy like wearing light boxers or more comfortable. I have a lot of workout clothes and these are really the most comfy however I'm not sure about wearing them outside the home. Maybe a quick errond. I normally wear an XL but due to the sizing chart I ordered the XXL and there a little too big and bulky. Definitely stick to your normal size. An XL would be a perfect fit. I can still wear them right now they fit just a little lose but if I lose 5-10 pounds I will no longer be able to wear these.. I'm 5'6 and 195. Very comfortable, even more then the champion jersey shorts. Those are comfy too.. These are light, cool and airy. I plan on using them for sun bathing, lounging at home and quick errands so it's perfect for me. I feel like I could live in these shorts as there so comfortable. Update: I ordered these in pink the XL and the fit is much better but still comfortable. These are extremely stretchy... Again for reference I'm 5'6 195 and the XL is a perfect fit but I could wear a large too. The elastic is extremely stretchy and workable.. The XXL I previously ordered fits but just barely, they are lose and they are so comfy I sleep in them.

I usually wear a size 14/16 on the bottom and Large fit me perfectly. I have other fitted Champion bottoms that I buy XL in so these shorts do run a bit large. I'm 5'6 and the length is perfect for me. I pair them with the Champion Double Dry® Cotton-Rich FITTED 7" Women's Bike Shorts # 8254 in XL and it's a match made in heaven. The fitted shorts are amazing and for some people may work alone but I worry about them causing the dreaded CT and prefer the added coverage of these mesh shorts. I wore this combo a very intense 1 hour Zumba workout today and I was extremely comfortable. GREAT price too!

Fit as expected. I'm typically between a L and an XL, and being that this product doesn't have a drawstring, I erred on the side of caution and sized down. It fits well enough for a gym short, a bit awkward here and there, but not too much muffin top and it's a decent length. Good value for money, holds up to washing well. I've actually gone on to buy another pair.
