Great product!
I ended up buying 3 of these product for about 20+ kids in the classroom. The kids spends hours playing into this straw. After a while (within couple of plays) the edge of the straw does crack and split. And that makes the jacks (connectors) unable to hold the straws. But that cracked edges can be taken care of with the clear scotch tapes. The module instructions inside to make the rockets and all requires you to cut some of the straw pieces in half, and I wish that they should've just included the ready made half straws. Each straw is about 8 inches, and its a great ways to teach kids about volumes and distance with this connector.

Very cool engineering toy
These straws have been a hit at our house. Our girls don't usually like "building" toys that much but we tried these out at our local Space and Rocket Center and they were hooked. My 4 yr old and 8 yr old work together to build big projects or sometimes build simpler designs. The only complaint is they aren't very sturdy if you're building something big. They tend to start falling over or need extra support. In a way this is good because it forces them to problem solve and find a way to build better from the foundation or add additional support.

Awesome buy!
My kids loves these things! I plan on buying additional sets to give them more to build. They love the flexibility of these and how many came in this set. They are big fort builders, and while these can’t hold weight at all, toss a sheet on top and they have the best tents and forts ever! So pleased!

Great for imagination building
Got these for my 7 and 9 yr old boys. They love them. They can use their imagination to build so many diff things. Downside is they aren't that strong if they put a sheet on top, it will prob topple down.

Doesn't stay together.
My 4.5 year old was so excited to build with this. Awesome concept but the pieces pop apart and you can't keep them together. Mom AND dad had to stand ther and hold them in place while son attempted to assemble and they still pooped apart. Very frustrating.

Great to keep kids entertained for hours.
Bought these for my Grant Grand Son, because all by sons, grandchildren, and now great grandsons have always enjoyed building with them. Even loan them out to the neighbors when they have grandkids over. You should see some of their constructions projects!

not as great as they seem
These are just ok. My kids love to build things and these are hard to manipulate. It takes a lot of umph and hand strength to get the straws into the connectors. Knowing now I probably wouldn't buy them again.

Got this to help with fine motor
Hard to put together as an adult, let alone for my 4 year old son. Got this to help with fine motor skill
