It was the right one and it worked great.

I have a Progressive Kenmore vacuum and the original belt finally broke. I searched and found these belts as a replacement and so far so good. I've read where some belts have broken within a few months of use, so if I have that same problem I'll update my review. As of today 5/24/2019, the belt is still working. I do like that you get 2 belts, always nice to have spare.

I can't say that this belt is easy to get on, but I did! Now my vacuum works like it should.

This was a perfect fit for my Kenmore upright vacuum. Glad they’re still making parts for this as it’s well over 20 years old and still going strong.

I almost didn't purchase these since a reviewer stated that this did not fit on a 116.31069110 upright vacuum, which is what I needed. But as I read the reviews, I noticed another reviewer who said that it did. I had been trying to order these from Sears, where they ended up on backorder for nearly 2 months, and were more expensive. For the price, it was worth the try, and we found them to be a perfect fit. The belt we removed was stretched out twice the size of these, and these are definitely a very tight fit, not easy to install, but they do fit. I discovered from the user manual of my machine that I had been incorrectly using my attachments features, and this is what led to the rapid decline of the belt on this particular model. I encourage you to pull out that manual and give it a quick once over if you also are having to replace belts too quickly.

It fit, although it was tight. It didn't last to finish the job & belt broke in half! Luckily it was a two pack so I installed the 2nd belt and finished the job. I hope this belt lasts.

WARNING: Before installing your replacement belt, make sure that the beater bar is freewheeling in its supports. I installed the belt without checking, turned on the vacuum, and the new belt immediately burned through. Turned out that one of the housings for the bushings holding the beater bar shaft was packed solid with long, tough carpet fibers. The bar wouldn't turn. That's why the old belt failed. Fortunately this package includes two belts, so after cleaning the housing and verifying that the beater bar spun freely, I hooked up the 2nd belt and all worked well. I was using a Kenmore upright model number 116.3441290. The original belt was a 20-5275.
