My new Bormioli Fido Rocco 28 oz sealing jar is the perfect size. Made in Italy, and seals really well. I will be using this for my sourdough starter and needed a really strong seal, and a large enough jar for the starter when it rises. I didn’t know the gasket is only good for a single use. Don’t quite know what that means since I will be opening it weekly to feed and use. Shrug 🤷‍♀️. Maybe if someone is canning…… Beautifully made and highly recommend.

First time sourdough starter and this jar made it easy for me to see what was going on as well as to know how and when to feed my starter. Love the airtight lid when having to put starter in fridge for a few days but can also leave lid partially closed for when it sits on the counter.

It's very good quality, but it is smaller than I thought it would be.

Perfect for my fresh ground coffee and the seal is good and air tight. When I pop it open the entire room is filled with a robust coffee scent.

Got caught up in sourdough creation this works perfectly for starter or other kitchen storage. The lid seals nicely, holds up to frequent washing. Wouldn’t recommend dishwasher washing if you want metal portion to stay shiny and smooth, but doesn’t prevent jar from functioning at all.
