Shoyeido's Moss Garden Incense 250 Sticks - Nokiba

Shoyeido's Moss Garden Incense is simply amaIng! I could write paragraph, after paragraph about how this scent moves me. I mean it literally moves me!! The scent is indescribable, it is so complex, yet so amazingly simple. Today a family friend walked in the house and literally followed her nose to my room, she smiled and asked "what is that scent, it smells the air after a warm summer rain". To me, Moss Garden smells like my childhood home, like a mix of wonderful sweet pastries baking, the smell of a freshly cleaned home and the breeze billowing softly through the windows on a hot summer night carrying smells of the evening. The scent makes me feel calm, peaceful, satisfied, happy and full of the love & promise. So strange, that a scent can make me feel so at peace and envoke so many feelings of happiness, warm memories, utter satisfaction, warm summer nights and the feeling of promise. This is truly my favorite scent so far by Shoyeido, however I said the same about White River and River Path, so who knows what I have in store with my next new Shoyeido incense purchase. I'm new to incense. I'm one of those people that used to get an immediate headache, from the odor of burning incense. I could never figure out why the store that I purchased the incense from smelled so good, only to get home and get nauseated with a terrible headache within a few minutes of lighting the incense I purchased from that store only earlier that day. I now, know why, they were burning high quality Japanese incense in the store, probably Shoyeido, and selling low quality, inexpensive Indian or Chinese incense. The scent of Moss Garden can't be described, however it can be felt. I believe that high quality Shoyeido incense is different for each person, envoking and awakening feelings of happiness and pleasure, feeling that your memory corrilates to a scent. These amazing incense created by Shoyeido have the key to open those feelings in you, each scent triggering something a little different in each individual but all of them being of pure pleasure and happiness. The scent is soft yet not faint, it is not overpowering but it is not gentle either. It's too difficult to put into words, my advice to you is order the 500 stick box, believe you'll end up using them all and ordering more, like I just did myself. I can guarantee the 250 stick box will not lay long in my home, I've already given some to my neighbor and my son's girlfriend. Do yourself a favor, buy yourself a box of Shoyeido's Moss Garden, sit back, close your eyes and see where the scent takes you! Enjoy!

This is very nice incense. It doesn’t seem potent enough for outdoor bug repellent, but it is perfect for indoor scents. Burn time seems around half an hour. Sticks are smaller than most common ones. Very clean burning. I get sandalwood up front, subtle patchouli and random bits of cloves. It is very effective for indoor use. I would get something bigger and less subtle for outdoor use though. This will be my go to living room scent. For my forest seat I will find something more aggressive.

Love this product. I've been buying these for years..make great gifts. Everyone I've shared these with..loves them. They smell amazing. This company has nice stuff.

Moss garden (and any shoyeido incense i have tried) is a joy to burn. A light welcoming smell. Wet stone. Moss. Trees. This is my daily incense and i am glad that they offer 250 and 450 stick counts.

They smell incredible and are very therapeutic. My only complaint is they don’t last very long and are on the smaller side as far as incense goes.

This Moss Garden incense is my favorite of all. Delicate scent and easy to light. I find the sandalwood fragrance just pure perfection with some subtle hints of patchouli, not overpowering. I have bought it for my own use and for gifts.

This one is one of my favorite and daily incense now. The smell is relaxing.

Shoyeido was the #1 recommended entry level incense from everyone I talked to, so I was excited to try this. It's silly to buy the bulk pack for a first impression but I like to gamble and it was a great deal. I'm so glad I did! To address concerns presented in other reviews: Mine was wrapped in sealed plastic. Not a single stick was broken or loose, which was a fear of mine based on all the reviews with spilled incense everywhere. It definitely doesn't burn long, but as long as you have that information going in it's not a problem. I'd say it burns for about 30 minutes. They're definitely fragile, but if you're not careless, you're not gonna snap them just putting them in a holder or anything. Just be delicate. Personal notes: The smoke!!! There's nearly none!! It's a miracle! Of course, for personal health, still have it placed at least 6 or so feet away from you to avoid smoke inhalation, but this incense is AMAZING for lack of smoke. The smell: In their defense, I've never been in a moss garden, but it's not quite the scent I was expecting. There's definitely some hints of forestry, but it's mixed with other things to keep it a bit muted. It's not a strong pine or anything immediately reminiscent of plants/moss garden, but you can smell it if you know what you're looking for. The important thing is, regardless if the combination of notes resemble an exact scent or not, it still smells wonderful. I'm so so happy with this purchase and I'm honoured to have it in my home.

Si rompono troppo fragili

avendo terminato le 2 confezioni che ci erano state regalate... Subito ordinata una terza. Arrivati nella consueta elegante scatoletta di cartoncino rigido dentro il classico cartonato amazon. Tutti i bastoncini integri. Per i nostri gusti è l incenso migliore. Non fa troppo fumo, profumo non "invadente" ma molto persistente. I bastoncini sono estremamente sottili (forse un paio di mm di diametro), lunghi circa 13 cm e si consumano in circa 25 minuti. Bisogna insistere qualche secondo per accenderli perchè come mi aveva spiegato anni fa un vero esperto di incensi non hanno sostanze chimiche "accelleranti" che favoriscono l accensione istantanea. Non presentano il classico "stecchetto" finale. Tenetene conto se dovrete inserirli in reggi incenso con foro calibrato per lo stecchetto. Da normali utilizzatori non possiamo che dire: ottimo prodotto! consigliatissimo!

Diese Räucherstäbchen sind bisher die besten, die ich hatte. Sie duften dezent nach dem typischen Patchouli mit einem Hauch von Benzoe und Sandelholz. Also sanft und eher süß mit einer leichten Schwere, die sehr entspannend wirkt und eine meditative Atmosphäre im Raum erzeugt. Man merkt, dass es sich um natürliche Inhaltsstoffe handelt und die Stäbchen von guter Qualität sind. Shoyeido produziert seit über 300 Jahren und das riecht man. Besonders diese Duft Mischung Moss Garden ist außergewöhnlich wohltuend und entspannend. Wie eine sanfte Umarmung. Ob beim Yoga, Meditation oder einfach nur so. Wirklich zu empfehlen.

J'aime les odeurs comme dans les centres de Méditation , pas trop de fumée, et la durée de 24 minutes , 25 minutes ;;; et j'aime moins la quantité réelle qui est de 476 bâtons dans cette boite, je vais voir pour d'autre encens même marque
