I expected more than what I got for the price. The track is fine for what it is. The engine is fine for what it is. The couplers are below all standards. The couplers do not align. And they come with nothing to adjust them. I had to make small washers to adjust the height and trim the poor quality edges to allow the rolling stock to stay connected. If you’re buying this set. Mount it to plywood, not much bigger than the foot print of the track.

I read another review where their train didn't couple. I have an N scale Silverton Durango train from Bachmann and it couples fine, so I figured, he must have gotten a dud. This one won't couple so it must be this specific train. If you only have the engine tooling around, it's not a "train" Very disappointed.

Amazing little train. Easy to put together. Great speed control. N scale is really small if you're not familiar with train scales, but perfect for small spaces.

I love it! I purchased this to use on a wooden tree my husband built me for my Christmas Villages . My only issue is the silver open top car does not match the couplings to the other cars, Every time it would go over the railer/derailer it would come off the track. My solution: take it off and set it aside until I can build a rail yard then I will park it! To solve the small couplings on the train itself I used tweezers to put the together. Worked grate!

Cute tiny train. N scale is so small that it is difficult to work with especially since the Engine did not work. It was difficult to diagnose and I’m an electrical engineer. Called customer service. They were reasonable and sent a replacement. It was fir my wife’s birthday so she did not get a working gift. I wanted to have it set up on the wagon wheel coffee table By the Christmas tree for her so it was a disappointment. Buying any accessories for N scale trains is difficult to find plus very expensive for tiny pieces of plastic.

I have downsized the height of my tree to 3' and never had trains under a tree before. However, I was an N-Scale train hobbyist for many, many years but circumstances forced me to give up the layout I had with over 200 buildings and over 500 people on it 20 years or so ago. I decided to indulge myself for this coming Christmas. These are the perfect scale for under a 3' tree in my humble opinion! I haven't unboxed them yet because I know once I take them out, I'll never put them away again. Can I just say, I can't wait for Christmas, by which time I will be 75 years old, LOL.
