Not so slippery that it makes it dangerous on hardwood floors, just enough grip to make walking smooth and controlled Check the sizing carefully, there are many variations on the market. The bottom of the rubber feet can very a lot and you need a nice tight fit for these sliders.

These are perfect for my Drive folding zimmer/walking frame, obtained from Amazon. That frame was supplied with gliders which I discarded, as I then used the frame out of doors. This is no longer the case. Having read in one review that it was best to replace worn ferrules as the gliders didn’t fit these well, I was a little apprehensive. Replacing ferrules isn’t the easiest job sometimes. However, all was well. If your ferrules are straight-sided towards the base, rather than sloping, then they will fit. 45 mm is 4.5 cms, so your ferrule needs to measure this across the base to fit properly. That’s a fraction under 1.8 inches, a tiny bit more than one-and-three-quarter inches. They make a real difference, sliding smoothly over carpets and hard floors, where rubber ferrules will squeak and drag. The walker won’t slide out of control, but there is now a freedom of movement that wasn’t there before. Please note, these won’t fit a tall narrow walker with 25 mm ferrules. This is clearly stated. I always feel sorry for sellers who receive one-star reviews, because people have bought an unsuitable item
