Flips Audio FH2814BK Collapsible HD Headphones and Stereo Speakers, Black

When I got these headphones, It took me awhile to get used to them, then when I heard the sound quality and how loud the speaker mode was I knew these weren't going to disappoint. I've been looking for speakers for my ipad and my phone, but since I saw these they are a great combination of headphones and speakers, also they are a lot cheaper than those beats. I would definitely recommend these headphones to a friend

I BROUGHT THESE HEADPHONES FOR MY 18 YR OLD SON AFTER READING MORE THAN 10 REVIEWS ON THE BEATS AND THEY ALL WEREN'T GOOD REVIEWS. SO I THOUGHT IF I'M GOING TO SPEND THIS KIND OF MONEY I MAY AS WELL GET SOMETHING THAT HAD GOOD REVIEWS. MY SON LOVES THEM AND WHEN HE FLIPS THE SPEAKERS OUT IT SOUND LIKE A BOOM BOX! THE SOUND IS LOUD BUT NOT OVER WHELMING. MY SON GIVE FLIPS 5 STARS!

I purchased these as I needed a set of headphones that were corded, to plug into my Sirius radio whilst working/driving. I slip seat, & a good % of the rigs I pilot don’t have a radio 📻, & when I team I need headphones when I work with a light sleeper… the speaker mode is Great & I enjoy the virsitility. Add the quality of the speaker 🔈 sound, I’m pleased. The headphones 🎧 mode are a bit “tinny” & lower quality, but their comfortable & serve their purpose well, comfortable headphones 🎧 when a radio is not equipped in the rig. The fact their affordable is a nice addition

My son bought these with his birthday money and I must say these are great. He wears them as head phones while in the car, but when he is outside playing basketball he flips them to speakers. These are pretty loud to I was extremely impressed with these. At first though I did think that something was wrong with them due to having to charge these, when the battery starts to die they will cut in and out like they are going to tear up. Other than that this is probably one of my sons best investments he has bought.

Purchased these as a Christmas gift for my son. Had them for 10 days and the headband snapped in half. He is 18 and treats his things very well and they didn't snap due to misuse. While they were still in one piece, my son loved them. The sound quality was fine for him and he said they were very comfortable. I have written to Flips Audio and have now returned them for another pair. I am still waiting for the replacement which is why I only gave it one star. I will revisit my review once we receive the replacement and have them for awhile. 6/8/16: Just to update my review, I received the replacement headphones approximately 1 month after Flips Audio received my return. They were great for almost 2 months, but they broke again in the exact same spot. I have contacted Flips directly to see if there is anything that they can do to help.

Got these for my stepson as a Christmas gift. I tried them out using my Galaxy S4 before wrapping them, and I was surprised by sound quality. When flipped out, a built in amplifier kicks in to up the sound. The highs are are clear and the bass is deep. My stepson's cell has Beats Audio, which make the Flips sound even better. He has played them all day long and they are still going off the charge I gave them last week. I would definitely recommend these headphones. A nice purchase.

Sounds great, love it amplified but the cord issues, I wish the cord would not have problems when charging it or the charge port. 3 pairs and which each one the same issue. No durability when It comes to the charge port and then they are worthless for how much the cost.

Sound quality is horrible. I bought these for my daughter because she always take my Beats wireless when I am not looking. I chose these over beats for the lower price but also they have the flip feature which turns them into speakers. I thought for my teenage daughter this might be a cool feature when her friends are over. They arrived in two days and I immediately opened and tried them out. I was very disappointed in the sound quality. It sounded like music coming out of a portable radio from the 80's. I knew that the sound would not be as good as my Beats but the sound was even worse than my daughters current Skull Candy headphones that were only $50. On a positive note, the design is more sturdy than beats, the case is a hard for more protection when not in use, and they are more comfortable. I think if the price was cut in half then these headphones may be worth the poor sound quality. But for $120, I expected a little more.
