Great value for a brushless system
What a great way to get your old buggy going brushless. Do not need much speed. Just want to experience it.

ESC is not water proof but i recommend anyway
it says "water proof" bit it's not really water proof.... i drove into water today, it stopped working immediately, when i get home i saw the problem 🤦 i can tell you to buy it, but make your ESC water proof!THE MOTOR is excellent!! fast and rapid responsive

Do not buy
Don't waste your time or money, both items are junk. I ordered 2 of these sets for a couple of rc builds but they didn't work so I thought I could upgrade a smaller car but they are not even usable in a 1/14 scale car. Tried the motor with an expensive esc and it kinda worked but not great. The esc won't move anything unless you give it a push first. Tried multiple battery brands, mAh, C rating, 2s, & 3s no combination of parts would makes this combo work. Messed around for so long trying to get them to work that I missed the return window.. in the trash they go, I'm not going to let these keep frustrating me.

Its a good bang for your buck swap if coming from a brush system. I've got it in a 2wd Stampede and did a couple pulls with a 2s/5200 and after the annoying 2 second delay in throttle response, it was pretty quick! It's definitely a good beater system before dropping coin for something better.

Simple to install. Rc car flies now with new motor. Deff worth it. Very very fun.

Great motor and esc for the price strong and fast
For my crawler truck it is really much faster than befor with lots of power

Horrible!!
This is NOT a good choice to use for a swap of any kind. While the motor is actually fine, the esc completely struggles under load...that's even after programming it with the program card you will inevitably have to buy. I ended up testing the motor with a Hobbywing and Spektrum esc, and it worked perfectly fine. No chattering, and had no issues with moving under load. Long story short...DO NOT BUY!!

Didn't hold up
When it wanted to run it ran really good but motor started cogging after a couple of good bashes. ESC is still in good condition though.
