Interesting read though. It's a short memoir, had a different perception.
I thought this book will be about his autobiography and his life overall. About his struggle, upbringing, lessons learnt etc. Basically a motivation book. Maybe, I did not researched it properly before buying. It has a bunch of 200-300 unique photos of Kobe about his lessons which is learnt on the field which is explained in pointers or a short parahraph. Kobe has spoken about his teammates, opposition, coaches and support staff in a short memoir. All hail the mamba mentality.

Thank you for writing this book which gives us a window to see your determination, focus, drive and energy. That's what Kobe called "Mamba Mentality". The way he read, study, understood and played basketball was unparalleled in game's history. The lessons that Kobe shared with us are valuable and should be inculcated in our lives to excel in professional and personal lives. Credit must go to Mr. Bernstein for clicking such beautiful pictures of Kobe and putting them in book. The book would have been incomplete without these pictures. The legend went away too soon. You will learn something about life, basketball, a performance based mindset. Or all three.
An insight into Kobe's thought process. His obsession for the game, his analytical side, his drive for achieving greatness, his faith. His message is simple to read, challenging to follow. Definitely worth recommending. Reading this is a pleasure and this book subtly encourages you to develop your own mamba mentality!

Dear, I just received the item (absolutely in love with the book) but that little rip on the cover annoys me. Kobe was about excellent and this isnβt unfortunately. Five stars is for the book. Breathtaking pictures and amazing narrative ππ
