First Instinct Blue for Men Eau de Toilette Spray, 3.4 Ounce

This one stays in my summer and spring rotation. Its a fresh melon scent with a little bit of sweetness that rounds it off nicely. This is a crowd pleaser and I really have gotten many compliments wearing this one. Lots of people have never even heard of this and only know fierce when it comes to A&F colognes. This one is sub 40 dollars and smells the same quality as any higher end designer. It smells completely different than any other summer fragrances I own, which I really like to be able to switch it completely up sometimes. This one is for sure blind buy safe and I really cant think of any negatives with this one Scent 9/10 Longevity 8/10 Atomizer 9/10 Best use case: Spring and Summer

Such a fresh, refreshing scent in this fragrance. I've received a lot of compliments on this fragrance and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a more affordable high-end scent. Everything from the performance to the color of the bottle is great.

I had a bottle of Abercrombie when I was in middle school in the ninties. I hoped I could find it again...I looked it up on Amazon and was so happygo find it. Very masculine smell, has hints of black leather. My favorite cologne. Great for all ages, not overwhelming. High school, college or date nights. Smells good on both men and women. I even use it as a room refresher. Highly recommend. Love love love!

To me, fragrances are an added layer of self expression. You wouldn't know it by looking at me, but I do like weirder and more unique things. Not all the time, but sometimes. This fragrances absolutely fits that bill. What intrigued me was the "melon opening." Boy was I not let down. It is yummy. I practically want to start biting my wrists thinking it's made of melon. If you're wondering what kind of melon it smells like, I'd definitely say it leans more towards cantaloupe. Ripe cantaloupe. Specifically the super soft, uber flavorful cantaloupe that practically melts in your mouth. Now add just a tiny dash of peppery spiciness. Boom there you go. Now, my biggest grip with this fragrance is that it's amazing opener....is....the opener. I really wish that stuck for a long time. But it doesn't. That opener lasts for a couple/few hours and then it's gone. It also doesn't really project that much when it is "strong." So what does the scent evolve into after the melon? Honestly, no clue. It's so subtle I really can't tell. After the first couple/few hours pass, I can't really smell much of anything. Mostly like a hint of melon and spice. But that's really it. Honestly it is a little disappointing. So what happens if you over spray? Good question. It didn't improve the overall length of the fragrance's life. However, projection definitely got a lot better. Originally I'd say it'd be a 6in-1ft if that. After over spraying it was easily 1ft-1.5ft. And the scent bubble was definitely stronger. But again, the overall life was the same. And even sadder still, I couldn't really get anything else out of the scent. Once it's gone I got the same hint of melon along with a general sweetness. Which was pleasant. But it's also a skin scent. Is it worth the buy? Maybe. Price is okay in my book. Longevity just sucks. I think that's the biggest crutch. The smell itself is also really unique. If that's important to you, I'd say get it. If you're wondering where the hell you would wear this fragrance, I'd say anywhere really. It'd be a decent office scent if your office is more laid back. It'd be great for the spring or a cool summer's night. A day at the lake. Probably could get away with it at the beach too. If you don't like overpowering your date or if you think you two are going to be snuggling up later, this definitely won't blast them in the face to the point they have a headache. They will be aware that it's there, and they will enjoy it. You might not get a compliment, but they'll subconsciously know it's there and will enjoy it at the very least. TL;DR: If you wanna smell unique, go for it. If you don't want to overpower your date but still want to wear something fresh and sweet, go for it. Oh, and I gotta say this is easily my favorite bottle in my small growing collection of fragrances. It's really really nice.
