I finally found some invasive grass carp today while fly fishing and took my chance. This slingshot did not disappoint. The fishing line was more than enough to handle this 5-7lb carp and SO MUCH FUN. I bought spare darts and dart style tubing and I'm glad I did as the initial slingshot tubing setup fell apart fairly quickly and the regular slingshot pouch tubing actually slipped through the slingshot tube mounting system fairly quickly. The reel doesn't have a lot of drag but the mounting system wouldn't support it if it did, plan on handlining any large fish. Be sure to buy some other dart style tubing if you want it to last more than a few shots, that's the only thing that took a star away. Overall well worth the money!

I know this was designed for fishing, but I use it to pull wire through ceiling, I put a sinker on the end of the line, and I shoot across the ceiling, and then use the string to pull the wire, and it works excellent.

Bought for my husband for carp fishing because his shoulder is bad and he could switch off between the bow and this. The line is too weak. So changed it. The reel couldn't handle the new heaver line. Arrow wouldn't shoot off straight. Just garbage. Maybe there are better ones out there but this is one hot mess.

Complete garbage. Not strong enough. Line gets tangled around the posts and the reel is absolute trash. Not even worth $20
