Tartex Organic Herb Pate Tube, 200g

Amazing taste and texture, well worth the money. 10/10!!

This is a wonderful pate and the mushroom version is definitely my favourite. Obviously it's great on crackers or toast, but there's another way you can use it too. To make a luxuriously creamy mushroom sauce to mix through pasta, just squeeze a tube into a saucepan, add a little oat milk to thin it (depending on how thick you want your sauce), and heat while stirring for a few minutes. Its absolutely delicious on pasta and they'll think you created a mushroom sauce from scratch, if you don't admit what you actually did haha.

I have been using Tartex Pate for years and thoroughly enjoy it. Its really tasty and keeps in the fridge for a long time because it is in a tube rather than a tub or other container. This particular supplier is very reasonably priced too. My only complaint and it seems to be quite a common one, is that the packaging is appalling and the tubes are very often damaged. In fact Evri could not deliver my most recent order because it was damaged beyond repair. I am considering purchasing from someone else as a result. Perhaps the supplier should read the reviews and take action regarding better packaging.

I love pate but don’t agree with the process line in the treatment of animals. This stuff gives me the pate buzz I love but I know no animals have been harshly treated in its making. This pate is amazingly tasty, lasts at least three weeks in the fridge, and is an appetising pate colour. I can’t fault it. Even my meat eating husband rates it. I’m not veggie nor vegan, but this hits the pate spot.

Delicious stuff! I have it via my subscribe and save, so shave a little extra off the price. It's not the cheapest but is worth every penny!

Let’s face it, the manner in which “real” pate is made is quite cruel to the ducks. This pate, being vegetarian, allows you to enjoy pate with a clear conscience. I have never had “real” pate so I cannot tell you how the taste compares, but I think this tastes great and I have also used it successfully it in recipes (like Beef Wellington) that call for pate.

Great pate but price is expensive. And I cannot find a better deal any where else.
