It's a nice scent, I like sweet smells so it was ok for me. Others I live with aren't that keen only because it can be quite sickly but if you like sweet go for it ! I have a very large kitchen and I put it by the sink. Whilst washing dishes I can smell it but not as you enter the room. If you're using it in a smaller room I think it would make the entire room smell nice.
