National Geographic Backyard Guide to the Night Sky, 2nd Edition

Gave the grandkids a telescope and this book really gets them interested in studying the night sky. Pictures are interesting and the information is very educational. The kids and parents were happy to have this book to aid in the use of their telescope.

Packed with lots of great info. A bit hard to read with small, gray text.

Other than the font is a little small for me, I really enjoyed the content and layout of the book along with graphics and notes on basically every page. Well worth the money if you want to learn more about the night sky. However, larger font would have made it a larger book and not as easy to hold and read.

I bought this book as a gift for my husband. We have big sky here and wanted to be able to identify the stars. After a little research, this book had the best reviews. We have been having fun reading the book and applying it to the night sky.

Very informative book well presented

Nice as any standard National Geographic product, but given the kind of content the size of the book and fonts could have been larger. Maps are too small to be legible. It could have been a very good book, but if reading is stressed the efficacy of the book is compromised.
