Although she does not like it, I gave this 5 stars for accuracy in product description. My significant other l likes bruising more than stinging with spanking. This is light and stingy which is my fault for not researching and thinking it through. I subsequently bought a thick oak paddle that is perfect for what she wants and her body type. Bruising is about her body type and my technique as much as the paddle weight, but in general, a heavier paddle bruises better than a light one. FYI.

I only gave it 4 stars for durability because the paddle came with an obvious crack in it. It seems to do well with medium effort, not sure how it'll do with full effort, especially with a crack already in it from purchase...
