Review: Helped our Kindergartner Understand Personal Space - Great book to teach younger children about personal space. I have an autistic five year old who is still working on understanding social cues and this book has been a great help. Now when he gets a bit too close, I use the phrase “you’re being a space invader” and it immediately clicks. Overall, recommend.
Review: Great book for kids under ~7 years old to talk about personal space - This book was recommended to me by a pre-school teacher to help my son with his invasion of other's personal space. This has helped give us language around personal space using animal characters (his preferred type of characters) and we use the terminology all the time now: "Be space saver, not a space invader!" We talk about how other kids who get in his personal space may not know this kind of information yet, so we should help teach them that they can learn to be a space saver too by using our words to tell them when they are in our personal space. Highly recommend this book along with the "Personal Space Camp" book to teach about personal space.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best boundaries book for kids who stand too close and touch too much.

We read this book over and over and over again. It is enjoyable. The main character's love for being close to other people is seen as a positive trait for home, but not for school. It is an uplifting story that does an excellent job of teaching young kids to respect other people's bubbles, and also that respecting other's bubbles doesn't mean that on has to go the opposite extreme and give up relationship. In reading this story, one child learned how to give people space and this child's sibling learned how to say "no" to his sibling being in his space.
