Dictionary of Dinosaurs: an illustrated A to Z of every dinosaur ever discovered: 1

Stunning stylish illustrations are chocked into every page that me and my dino-fan son love having a read through whilst watching his favourite dinosaur themed shows. Although the information is brief and not every dinosaur in here features a Dieter Braun illustration (some just show a silhouette), the artwork that is included is worth the price alone. Nice layout and breaker pages with an dinosaur era overview as intro give it a bit more depth, but you won't find air or sea-based dinos in here as they technically aren't "dinosaurs" per se. That being said, the pronunciation guide has been the best I've encountered for help in saying the trickier names, which for my 3-year old dino fan is all the info he wants. My disappointments were that the book isn't bigger with more artwork or broader range of creatures from the ancient era or facts like the DK, but for the visuals alone and the price it is sold at, it is completely forgiven. I will definitely go on to buy more books produced by Dieter because they are absolutely stunning.

Bought the book for a 6 year old great nephew. He loves it and asked for it to be read as his bedtime story 😳 That’s good enough for me.

My grandson loves dinosaurs so borrowed this book from the library and didn't want to take it back. Bought as a Christmas gift as it was almost half price. Lovely book for dinosaur fans.
