These are very comfortable and form in the ear canal easily. However, they are not sufficient for hearing protection in an indoor shooting range. Not heavy enough material. These are plenty sufficient for most other hearing protection needs. They work well when operating loud machinery, such as a lawn mower. But... the little blue pair of rubber plugs that they include in this container is indeed heavy enough and works very well at the range. I ended up ordering more of the kind like these rubber plugs for use at the range. I gave them 5 stars because they work really well for other things, and the number of sets included is a really good bargain for the price.

I live in an old house with squeaky old wood floors on the top floor. My room is below the front entry and formal room. It gets loud when my husband or son is going in or out. I use these regularly to block out the noise and get a good night's rest. They squish down and are easy to insert into the ear canal. Then they expand and block out the noise. I can use them for a few days if I store them in an airtight container, but after a few uses, I need to get new ones. It would be great if they came individually packaged so they all stay fresh. By the end of the bottle, I find they don't work as well because it has been opened so often. But this is the best brand I have found so far.

My boyfriend SNORES so much so these have been an absolute lifesaver. I have a pair of loops for sleeping but I definitely feel that these block out more sound than those. One thing I will say is that they WILL fall out while you are sleeping, but honestly that is not a problem for me because I just need to actually fall asleep first. These are definitely reusable if your ears are clean. Most of the time, I'll resuse them up to two times and then toss them. I don't like like they cause ear pain whatsoever at least for me.

Double check the noise reduction rating - I bought these thinking the 38 dB SNR was better noise reduction than the Macks - didn't realize there were two different standards. This brand is advertising the EU Standard, which is a higher number than the US number. These are slightly lower noise reduction than I was hoping for, but that's on me (though, also some creative marketing). I have been using the Macks Ultra Soft 33 dB NRR for years. After a few uses with these, still prefer the Macks. These don't last quite as long, take a little more care/effort to get properly placed. I got them for sleeping and have found them to work, but slightly less comfortable than some others. Given the same price, go with Macks for the slightly better noise reduction and stash these ones for desperate times.

These are very comfortable and can be worn all night. Perfect if your sleep partner snores! Definitely better than the 3M version.

Excellent ear plugs. You can wash air dry them and use repeatedly until they can't do their job and then it's on to the next pair from the jar. This is probably my third jar in three years. One per year. I'm satisfied with this product. Water resistant and dims loud noises and some noise cannot be heard at all. I rarely have experienced ear pain but when I wash and air dry them they don't hurt me.

My ears are medium-sized. While these earplugs can block most of the sound of an air conditioner (especially at low-to-medium fan speed), they don't block the sound of voices at all. They also don't block any of the road noise outside my bedroom window. I have not tried these on a plane yet, but hopefully they can be useful to block engine noise while traveling on flights.
