To be honest I was skeptical at the beginning if this would ever work. Like marketed for all kinds of odor eliminators or air purifiers, there are no ways to quantify the effectiveness of such products excepts very subjective feelings, by smelling the differences. Recently I was trying to shop some for my fridge, it did have stated hatching some some bad smells and definitely not something you would want before breakfast.I bought this device for a trial and put into my fridge. For the past couple of weeks, it worked pretty well from day one, especially in the morning, the smell is really divine. Don't understand the technology behind it but it did work better than some active charcoal in my car, which seems working or not working, I can hardly tell. But this thing seems being able to remove the smell from food and the improve was significant and obvious.
