I have a beautiful, female ball python who’s a little over a year now. I know how fortunate I am when I say in the 7 months I’ve owned her, she’s never refused a weekly feeding. She progressed all through the various hopper/tiny mouse sizes and plateaued at the regular adult mice size. I live both of the huge pet chain stores close by. I won’t buy anything else from those stores. Often times, neither place would have regular sized mice in stock. Having to make weekly trips to buy food for my pet that often was out stock wasn’t working for me. I decided to check Amazon- hey you never know!! To my pleasant surprise, I discovered I could buy enough mice to feed my girl for over a year!!!!! What a BARGAIN!Well… let me hold up there bc it wouldn’t be a bargain if the rodents were the wrong size or bad quality, etc. NOT THE CASE!The mice arrived shipped overnight in dry ice. I happened to be gone the entire delivery day and was panicked they’d be ruined, but nope! Frozen solid. Something I HIGHLY recommend is to sit at a table with 20 ziplocks and a pair of gloves on. Put one mouse per ziplock. (I did 20). This way, on feeding day you just grab the single serve portion to use. The mice come all together in one bag- so this step just makes things that much easier. The mice have all looked healthy, plump and my snake enjoys them very much.
