I am actually impressed by this little unit. Decent price for a remote control pan device for your gopro or gopro type camera. (uses the standard gopro type mount) -land even includes a camera post adapter.HOWEVER..... the tilt is MANUAL so the title and information are misleading!!! This unit only provides remote controlnpan functions with included remote.Battery is internal and not easily replaceable. This can be an issue if you have long shoot days.I will mount this on the top of my offroad 4x4, to get panaramic shots. So battery could cause issues!!!The other issue is the unit is NOT waterproof. So i wont be able to use it if it rains.I rated this as a 4star because i was under the impression it had remote tilt, also because battery is internal.

The metal seems tough but the screws on mine have come loose slightly. I tightened them again so It still works just would hate for it to come undone while I have the GoPro out surfing

This is the perfect extension for the Go-Pro mounts. It is well made with proper fit. I bought a second one as well as the longer extension to make a right angle. If you look at others on the web site, you will see silver caps on the threaded ends -- Those are plastic and are too snug for an easy fit. Get these GoTough ones.

The prongs (both sides) were way too spread! Literally had to use vise grips to tighten the thumbscrews. Attempting to attach a dual GoPro camera holder. On the three prong side the prongs fit on the two prong item, but also noticed considerable daylight between the prongs on three prong ends! Finally, after using extreme force and the vice grips, (couldn’t get grip with 4 different GoPro keys) I got the mounting screw all the way through, but the outside prongs were still too wide and would not hold! Money wasted, item thrown in trash. I’ll try another seller! Recommendation is DO NOT BUY THIS ADAPTER! Faulty measurements!!!

Needed this to help extend my Garmin Virb a little further away on my GoPro Chesty mount, The back of the Garmin Virb sits a little closer to the mount, and this is needed to push it out further. Its of good quality, and I haven't experienced any problems with it. I've ordered one more to keep in reserve in case this one fails.

The extender is solid, not flimsy and thus seems to be well made. The fit is a nice tight fit with the other accessories that I will use it with.

Overly snug fit between the tines, but otherwise HQ.

This item is actually two pieces (one with two teeth, the other with three) that are held together by four tiny screws. Initially.I took it out in the field and when I got my GoPro out to mount it for the day, I could see that the two pieces were loose and wiggling. Well, that screwed up my whole system. I wasn't about to loose my $400 camera over this piece, so I removed it and went without for the day.Took a closer look when I got home and TWO of the four screws had come out completely. I was able to tighten up the other two and gave it another shot. Next time I pulled it out it had completely separated into two parts. I now have one screw remaining, and I'm sending it back to Amazon with the two halves of this completely useless item.It's a shame because a GoPro joint that doesn't add a 90-degree turn can be very useful when mounting your camera. I was put off by having to pay $13 for this one piece, but figured I'd bite the bullet on it and be able to enjoy a long-lasting, high-quality piece that wouldn't break like the plastic joints that GoPro provides. DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE!

There is no way getting round that this is quite expensive for a little item. However having seen my Garmin Virb camera bouncing down the road when a plastic version snapped of my bike, I consider this as good value.It's a well made item and I'm sure it won't fail and very happy that I won't see my camera bouncing anymore

This item arrived buckled and bend. Try to pry open to get GoPro case in but couldn’t get it to budge. Complete junk and it’s expensive compared to others.
