I absolutely love it! It has a permanent place on my counter since I use it so much. My only "complaint" is that it needs to be turned up hotter than suggested. It does gorgeous steaks, great chicken, easy fish and delectable vegetables. My husband loves baby canned potatoes. I toss them in melted butter with salt and pepper and grill them on high until spots are golden and potatoes are hot. Never fails to please! The cleanup is amazing. I haven't bothered to put it in the dishwasher. I just use soap and hot water and a brush and it cleans up good as new. The element and external areas just need a damp cloth. I have some slight staining in one area of the under pan from a sticky tomato based barbecue sauce. Probably if I had cleaned it as soon as it had cooled.it wouldn't have stained. (I left it until the next day. Even then everything cleaned up with a little discoloration from the sauce.) DON'T add as much water as they suggest. I use barely a cup just so it covers the bottom of the drop pan. Too much water and it's hard to get out without spilling. The fan really does work to control smells. I did fish and somehow the smell was contained. I like the glass lid although the handle can get hot so use caution. I wish the grill was a little deeper since the lid didn't fit down when I did ribs. Not a problem but it would have been nice to have more space. I cooked the ribs in the pressure cooker and then finished up with sauce on the grill. Yum! Best ribs ever!I We live in Arizona and it gets hot and windy. Grilling outside was too much trouble. This fantastic grill lets me have the flavor without standing in the weather. Lots more things get grilled now!

I ordered the Techwood BBQ as I have an apartment and wanted to be able to grill again. I got the grill and set it up in a few minutes. Easy to do. Nothing complicated about it. Fired up the grill and cooked some chicken breasts. Came out perfect. Today I cooked some meatless breakfast patties, same result. I also wrapped some baby potatoes in some foil and a little butter and a squeeze of lime juice and placed it on the grill. Slow cooked them and they came out wonderfully. Can't wait to try some salmon on the grill. One of the benefits of using this type of grill is that the fat is directed down into a pan and therefore you are cooking with less fat. This is a good benefit health wise. I didn't realize this benefit until I started to cook with the grill. In addition, the grill plate itself is high quality and it is non-stick so it is not necessary to use a lot of oil, if at all. So you are using less oil and the fats drip down into a pan below. Also has several temperature settings which are nice to either grill or warm or do an in between heat when needed. Clean up is a breeze since the plate is non-stick and the underlying pans just needed a quick wash. The price is amazing compared to some of the other grills in this category. The size of the grill plate is perfect for me as an individual or even for a couple or small party or family. Very happy with this grill. Having fun BBQing again!!!

Fantastic product

I researched various indoor grills and purchased this one, hoping it would grill somewhat similar to my outdoor grill. I did not expect it to come close, but I grilled a steak right off and it grilled to perfection! Same results as my outdoor grill!!! There was no smoke at all, and my steak was seared with a bit of crisp on the outside and tender and juicy inside- perfect for me (a medium rare fan). At first when I heated it up I forgot to put water in the lower pan, so remember to do that. It cleaned up quickly and I am delighted. My only suggestion would be some type of indicator light to let one know it has reached the desired temperature. I plan to be using it frequently through the winter and looking forward to many wonderful meals!

We love it work just like a bbq

Wow we have done burgers and steaks and you would think it came right off a BBQ. Highly recommend and easy to clean. Parts can go in the dishwasher. I had never heard of this brand but purchased it based on the reviews. Great for the winter months when it is too cold to go outside and start the BBQ

I thought it was well made and a good weight. I liked the lid and interchangeably bbq plates.

I am so happy with this grill... it's for sure smokeless and I can BBQ veggies and meet perfectly. The cover it's great. Also very easy to clean
