Review: Very affordable &for the price, it can't be beat! - This deal is amazing for the amount of pads you get for the price.. Initially, I was less than impressed with the level of stick the long pads had..or didnt have for that matter. However, that was only an issue when the pads were used for the very first time.. They just weren't getting a strong stick despite me having thoroughly prepped my skin by first washing the area with warm soapy water..pat dry with paper towels followed by fully air drying and applying 91% isopropyl alcohol to the area where I wanted to place the pads (& of course allowing it to dry first which only takes mere milliseconds lol) and still they just wouldn't really stay on. I had to stand there and hold them in place which was super annoying. I was slightly disappointed to say the least but considering that I did not have any other pads and I had already paid for,opened, & began using these ones I didnt feel right returning them and just tried to be positive about it and I went ahead and used the pads again fully expecting to have to physically hold the pads for the entire duration of the treatment.. But,strangely, to my [pleasant]surprise...this wasn't the case. This time, they were plenty sticky..almost too sticky at times lol. I did put on some tight spandex clothing just as a reinforcement cuz I will say that despite them being sticky (the 2nd time around lol) if youre moving around a lot and they happen to be in an area where the skin is highly manipulated during movement (like the lower glutes/"under-butt" area where the glute meets the leg)and you start sweating..if you don't have something like spandex shorts to keep them in place they will def eventually drop off..and I'll tell you what, having the pad begin to lose contact with the skin during a muscle building treatment(deeper more intense &full muscle contractions that are held for longer lengths of time) is sooo not fun! Its actually rather painful.. The pins&needles sensation is extremely amplified into more of of a stabbing sensation coupled with a very real shocking sensation and in my experience having the pad lift up like that actually intensified the muscle contraction 10 fold so now you've got this feeling of being stabbed, shocked, &the most painful cramping charlie horse you can imagine..it was almost paralyzing lol I couldn't even move I had to wait for the contraction to stop before I could move to push the pause button to figure out what in the world was going on! I do have to admit it was pretty conical despite the pain..I'm glad it happened tho as it lent itself to the expansion of my knowledge...salt water (aka sweat) is the #1 substance to increase conduciveness AND I wasn't crazy in thinking that the pad lifting intensified the effect..cuz since the pads work by sendings signals back and forth between eachother passing thru&stimulating the muscles directly below that area.. When you slightly start to lift one of the pads of the skins surface it's still within range to successfully exchange signals,however the signal is now travelling a further distance which creates a stronger force on the muscles being stimulated. The example that helped clarify this for me was using your finger to move water. Create a set distance between point A& B and move your finger back and forth between those 2 points at a steady even rate/speed and note the reaction in the water ..now increase the distance between those 2 points(A&B) and repeat using the same rate/speed as before and you'll notice a significant increase in the intensity of the water movement even if the distance wasnt increased all that much..plus, the speed will naturally increase on its own due to the build up of momentum and the same is true for the signal being sent between the pads which you can really feel during those deep intense muscle building treatments. Anyways, for this price, I totally think its worth it and have yet to find a better deal. I've found pads that were cheaper, but when the cost of shipping was factored in it was no longer a more feasible option.
