This does not work at all
This item is good for nothing. You will definitely burn your hands. Its better to use a good quality oven hand gloves than this. BTW that one star- I have given because Amazon doesn't allow to submit without it.

Short silicone handle , does not serve the purpose
Utter waste... It is much shorter than the vessel's handle. Hence grip is insufficient to lift hot vessel. Even though quality of silicone is good. But it is useless after fixing it on vessel
