When I received the pomade, the color looked more brown than blackish. After applying the pomade to my eyebrows I was satisfied. I've had no issues with smearing. The pomade stays in place until you remove it. I've been using this product for the past 6 months, and I still have plenty of product left. The brush it comes with works well too.

I love the ash brown in this product and actually not only use it on my brows but also as a eyeshadow. Very easy to use and looks natural once you get the hang of how to use it. Appears high end quality and I will continue to rebuy this which is rare since I love to try lots of brow makeup, but this is a winner along with this great color (I have gray hair, light skin, hazel eyes, and am "mature").

This eyebrow cream works well and gives good shape and definition to my brows. it takes a wee bit of practice as the cream can go on a bit heavy in spots. Definitely use the brush end of the applicator to distribute and shape. It lasts long enough for a work day but I would not call it "24 hour".

I’m shocked at how much I love this. I own a lot of different brow products from high end to cheapy brands and there is always something I dislike about any one item. Too messy, too shiny, too bold, too faint, too hard to blend, etc. This pomade is great. It is truly matte so it really creates the illusion of having full natural brows. I have oily skin and usually use brow pens (Glossier Brow Flick, Milani Weekend Brow) to fill in hair strokes but find that the finish never truly dries down. I’m shocked that this pomade delivers such a realistic look. The brush is perfect for creating hairlike strokes and blending. I haven’t had to use the spoolie side because the formula doesn’t clump or look harsh. It’s been the easiest brow product to work with and I love that because I’m always trying to find ways to simplify my routine.

The formula itself is nice; it applies smoothly, builds well, and definitely lasts all day. But the shade name is way off. “Soft Brown” is not soft at all; it’s actually even darker than e.l.f.’s so called “light brown.” I double checked the packaging and it really does say soft brown, but on me it looks closer to a medium or even dark brown. I wore it out and felt like my brows looked heavier than I wanted. The product works, but the shade description is very misleading
