The Golden Temple Vegetarian Cookbook

We used to have a Golden Temple restaurant in Kansas City in the 1970s. The food was so fresh and delightful. The recipes in this book evoke that earlier, less hectic time when we would linger over dinner with friends. I enjoy cooking these meals.

Great cookbook.

Perfect!!

The book gives some good and healthy alternative for the good old mozzarella, tomato and basil diet that us vegetarians are prescribed. Yogi Bhajan, a spiritual leader who loved his food, collected these recepies in the earlies 70s, which was used for a chain of Golden Temple restaurants using the ayuvedic cooking techniques. Cooking with clean consiousness and mantras does not only effect the cooking, but also the food! A beautiful initiative, however just one restaurant survives the cold and impersonal 90's. If you want to enjoy some of the techniques and recepies life, try this 'last-of-the-mohecains' Golden Temple restaurants in Amsterdam, on the Utrechsestraat.

Easy to follow delicious recipes.

All the years and years I ate at the Golden Temple in Los Angeles, CA were totally awesom and delightful cuisine. Now that I have moved I can still access the wonderful food I enjoyed so much by making it myself.

Very disappointed with this book it’s in s very bad condition in description it says the condition is very good which is not true!

Tolles Buch, bin froh, daß ich es habe. ich bin ganz gur bewandert in der vegetarischen und indischen Küche, aber hier fand ich dann doch nochmal ungewöhnlichen vegetarischen Rezepten.Schade, daß dieses Buch nicht mehr neu aufgelegt wird.

Excellent livre.Ce livre est assez rare et pas tout jeune mais son état reste très bon. Les recettes sont en anglais mais très vite assimilées.Un grand merci au vendeur et à Yogi Bhajan !
