I bought this for my son's queen. It fit well, and did it's job. I was concerned about other reviews that said this wouldn't last long, and easily rip. My son is a big boy. He weighs 250 lbs. I was concerned that as he turned in bed, it might rip this thing apart. Additionally, he sleeps with our dog that has accidents, but also has claws. We keep them trimmed, but it sounded like this mattress cover would rip super easy. For us, this was not the case. It's been 9 months, and it has ripped. I think this is fantastic! Being used everyday for those 9 months, I think this is pretty awesome. Because of where the rip is, it looks like it was because of my sons weight that ripped it. We have had 100% leak proof coverage, which we were looking for.

Perfect and durable for my king size bed. Took a little work to get it on because my mattress is heavy, and the zipper gave me a little trouble but it’s on and works good. Has deep pockets and doesn’t make a lot of noise like a plastic one does. Is comfortable.

This is a high quality vinyl that is absolutely waterproof as opposed to water resistant. The 4 star rating is because it only last a year. After a year it becomes easy to tear and crackly when you get in bed. I have figured out you must replace it once a year and it is completely 100% waterproof and noiseless. I will just continue to buy one each year because that is far cheaper than replacing a mattress

THIS MATTRESS COVER SAVED MY BED! This is a waterproof fitted plastic bedsheet. Yes, it is fully waterproof! My cat helped me to confirm this multiple times. For those of you who have a pet who makes a bee-line for the mattress when they are sick and need to vomit, etc. — this mattress cover is for you! I was as pleased as punch when my cat got sick recently — not that they were ill — but rather when I returned home from work to find a pools of urine, vomit and diarrhea atop the plastic cover — all easily wiped up with a paper towel… it was all so wonderful and effortless! Because it is impermeable, liquid can spill over the sides, so you need to have something absorbent on top of it. I suggest either a towel or a mattress pad. How thick is it? The plastic is 8 mil in thickness (by comparison, a "heavy duty" garbage bag is about 1 mil, and a typical bedsheet is 12 mil. (I measured all these with a micrometer at multiple points across the sheet; it was the same thickness near the zippers.) How sturdy is it? I put some weights on it, and it supported over 50 lbs. (~20 kg) without problems. It finally tore when I put it over the top of my door and tried doing pull-ups with it. It tore on the seam of the zipper, so the seams are the weak spot. However, you need to exert a LOT of pressure to tear it. After two months, after a fit of vigorous kicking, the cat has left a single puncture of one layer. I say ONE layer, because I just lay the cover on top of my bed (which gives me twice the thickness of plastic and two separate barriers against penetration). This cover is designed to enclose the mattress, but I don’t see the need for this (unless you have bedbugs), as you can avoid all the problems with seams, zippers, etc. by just laying it on top of the mattress. How comfortable is it? Ok, it’s a sheet of plastic. I don’t think you are buying this for comfort. That being said, I have laid down directly on the plastic and fallen asleep with no problems. I was not kept awake by the plastic. Maybe add a couple linen sheets on top? This will also help with air flow if you are a sweaty person. There are a LOT of “comfortable” rubberized or treated fabric "waterproof" sheets out there, which are actually only “water-resistant” which means liquid will go through them to the mattress if you don’t get to it within a few minutes. Don't waste your money on that garbage. In Summary, this cost me around $20 USD — let’s have realistic expectations. It is a plastic sheet, not Kevlar Body Armor. If it gets damaged, you can buy another. I’m frankly not sure I even want to own a urine protector cover that I could pass down to the next generation. However, it is truly waterproof and it will protect your mattress from getting ruined!

It's a three star product at best. I tried to get in contact with the seller but there's no option anymore. The zipper is poor quality particularly the end zipperstop is poor quality. It fell off before I even got it on the mattress they try to combat this by putting it in the structions so that they can say the user you put it on wrong I caught this immediately as soon as I read the instructions and decided to check it beforehand sure enough the zipper stop wasn't even on it it was loose before I even put it on the bed. They pass that off by saying to people have to help and if not it could put stress on the zipper I called BS on it and looked it up and sure enough the zipperstop was weak as crap poorly made aluminum foil I had to fit it back around the bottom and if I hadn't looked first and zipped it it would have pulled the Zipper ride off in the bed would have been ruined. Since I did check beforehand I was able to save the bed zipper but it will fall off anytime I ever try to put it back on the bed again. I would gather this would happen to people or not. It's just them covering their butts so they don't have to replace a product. My advice would be get a different bed was customer satisfaction guarantee on it and instructions that don't say that. Otherwise as far as the material goes it looks pretty good and it feels really nice and my son even like laying on it. He has accidents so we're training on that for a while instead of putting a regular sheet on so that I can just wipe it clean. So far it seems to be pretty good. They would have got an excellent writing if they had to put such a crap zipper on it. The material seems pretty good but everything else about it's making seems to be faulty and cheap.

I dont know how this is ripping for other people, its very durable, just let it air out for a day. 100% mattress protection from any type of liquids or... you know
