Sebamed Cleansing Bar 100g - Pack of 3

We came across Sebamed bars (and the liquid bodywash) in Germany many years ago and have used it ever since. The bars have a nice, clean smell and produce a soft, gentle lather ideal for hard-water areas and for skins that are adversly affected by soap. Pasante are the distributors in the UK and the cheapest place to buy from. Highly recommended.

I noticed a difference from the very first use. This cleansing bar contains no soap, which is great for someone like me with both oily and sensitive skin. I live in a hard water area, and limescale often leaves my skin itchy—this product really helps soothe that irritation. There’s no odd smell, and it feels gentle and clean on the skin. It's also surprisingly affordable for the quality. If you're struggling with sensitive skin, or irritation from hard water, this is absolutely worth trying.

Very nice soap, clean deep but gently.

Gentle cleanser, doesn't leave my skin dry. Don't like the scent, but it eventually disappears if you leave the soap open to the air.

I have suffered from moderate acne since I was 13. I a 36 year-old male, and until recently was at the end of my tether. Over the years, I have used pretty much every product to try and sort my acne out. I have used benzoyl-peroxide cream which has generally been the most effective product, though it bleaches clothing and bed sheets, taken oral antibiotics with some limited success, used Retin-A, Clindamicin lotion, Neutrogena cleansing bar, Clean And Clear, Clearasyl, Clinique and so on. Often, my skin improves a little for a week or two, then the acne inevitably returns. When I bought the Sebamed cleansing bar, my hopes weren't high; I guess I was used to being disappointed. It is now 4 weeks later and my face is completely acne-free. Seriously. I have not had to apply any benzoyl-peroxide cream for over a fortnight now, and perhaps the most surprising thing is that my skin isn't dry/flaky at all. I am used to most other products having a drying effect on my skin, but that certainly isn't the case with this product. It took around a week of using the cleansing bar twice a day for the acne to clear, and it hasn't returned. This is the longest period of my adult life that I have been spot-free; even when I was on antibiotics such as tetracyclines or erythromycin and using Panoxyl 5% cream, I always had at least one spot. I've just bought my second bar. The delivery time was only a couple of days, so ultimately, given the very reasonable price, delivery time and impact on my skin, I'd say that this has been one of the best purchases I've ever made.

I have dry skin and an uneven skin tone. From trying some products on the high street I have either found that they dry out my skin, cause an increase of spots, or make the combination areas appear redder. I came across Sebamed because of it's high number of positive reviews and I have not been disappointed. As quickly as the first use, the usual pinkish areas on my face had completely evened and I was not left with any flaking on the dry areas. There are next to no other products I have tried that had such a positive effect and to find such a good item for a really low price is a rarity. This is what my skin has needed all along and I will buy again.

Gentle on the skin. Long lasting.

Hard to find no -plastic solution for very sensitive skin, but this is it. Lathers well, lasts well, doesn’t go to mush, lovely clean smell

Ich habe diese seife seit Jahrzehnten benutzt und kaufe sie in den letzten Jahren in der USA wo ich jetzt wohne, aber hier in Deutschland ist der Geruch immer noch so schön wie in meiner Kindheit, die Zusammensetzung in der USA hat sich in den letzen paar Jahren geändert und nich mehr so gut, aber jetzt habe ich sie hier in Deutschland bestellt weil ich hier bin zu besuch und die ist einfach toll!

At the start of the pandemic with all the different brand of face masks my face was breaking out so bad and nothing seemed to help until my mom got me to try this soap last September. I don’t usually use soap on my face because I find it gets my combination skin to dry but with a good moisturizer I am fine using this product. I wear mask for work everyday, all day and got no new breakout in over 6 months! The supplier was great, product arrived 3 weeks early!

A little bit pricey, but good quality.
