However, the purpose of my purchasing it was for a pen holder. I have a pen that I don't like coworkers to run off with, so I usually keep it in my current pen holder that is multi functional and acts like a tape dispenser and sticky note home. That works well but is kind of bulky, which is why I thought this item would be perfect. The pen falls out of the hole unless you ever so gently and carefully place it in there, and nine times out of ten if winds up falling out anyways.
