Radio Remote Control 1/24 Scale Ferrari F40 Licensed RC Model Car (Red)

I bought this because..well IT"S A FERRARI F40!!! I like all types of RC cars from hobby grade to toy grade. This one looks very nice and paint is very shiny. Nice box. Could also be a display model. Good detail and a decent RC for its size. Has suspension front and rear. Not too fast but decent for driving in small areas. I plan to modify with hobby grade servo for steering and different electronics for better control and speed. Body will also fit on to a Wl Toys 1/28 scale Rc. Would recommend. Actually bought a second one.

My son and I bought 2 1/24 RC cars, this one and one by Maisto. We have a blast with these types of little cars in the basement playing tag with them. This one does not disappoint! It is quick, turns well and seems to last forever on a set of batteries. The Maisto however is a disappointment. Anything less than perfectly fresh batteries and it slows down and accelerates poorly. I feel that the biggest reason is because it carries only two AA batteries while this and a few others we have carry 3.

Excellent, quick RC car. Wish it had real head lights.

The packaging was nice, it came undamaged and well protected. The car functions well and is quite zippy, but it does not have proportional control. It's a great toy and a lot of fun to drive. The controller is a little cheap feeling but the cars construction and the detail is better than I expected. This is a Mhz rc unit so the range is not going to be good but I dont have the room to test it. I bought this car to modify it and will soon be pulling out the old electronics. But stock this car is better than most Walmart rc cars.
