It screws in and unscrews without binding, yet it never gets loose while on the lens. The glass is high-quality and renders neutral images (ie. no color shift!). I have pointed it directly at the sun, and there is no flare or ghosting caused by the filter. The photos I take are just as sharp as when I take the same photo with the filter removed. These filters live up to the advertising, and are more reasonably priced than many other filters out there. I have not yet, and don't intend to, smudge them up or abuse them, just to "test them out" against other filters that claim to shed dirt, water, and grease. I take better care of my equipment than that. I don't need to pay 3x the cost just for features that assume abuse of equipment. These Lenskins are the best balance between cost and quality that I could find on the market. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars No significant color cast or loss of sharpness *by S***1 on Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2019* The frame of the Lenskin 77 mm ND 1000 filter is of light weight aluminum material and is okay considering the incredible low price. What is surprising is there hardly any color cast and loss of sharpness when using my Canon ultra wide angle 17-40 mm lenses on a Canon 6D. See the attached images, the left image is with the ND1000 filter and right image with no filter. This slim filter doesn't add any additional vignetting to your ultra wide angle lenses which is a good thing. There was some slight warm color cast when I tested with my cheap 18-55mm kit zoom lens on my Sony A6000 with a step up/down ring adapter, but not so with a Rokinon 12 mm lens.
