Go waste your time unless you need a shower
I spent over $25. Thinking this would be a good heavy duty long-lasting nozzle. It lasted about 2 months started leaking all over me out of the trigger out of the nozzle.I tried to send you. Write message but it wouldn't go through the only option. It would give me was the push.Never mind, I'm all set.I came across it again. While I was looking for something and thought I'd try it again and let you know.I'm very disappointed in the matter.Money I spent on this piece of junk.I could have bought plastic ones for7 dollars a piece And then happier sorry I'd like It sucked I wasted my money

Brand confusion - Nelson vs. Gilmour
This style nozzle is a great design overall. Setting it down or dropping accidentally for example doesn't present risk of getting sprayed. I had good luck with the Gilmour branded version for several years until it's weak point within the trigger mechanism failed. Some critical moving parts are made of weak plastics or perhaps nylon. This part prematurely failed dramatically shortening the life of the product. Not aware that the similar appearances were of no coincidence, I searched for similar designs as an alternative to the failed Gilmour and found the Nelson implementation. Upon arrival, it was not as pictured (not branded as Nelson). Instead, it was the Gilmour product. As a result, I paid more for the product as compared to other seller options advertising Gilmour's part. Research into this found a press release from 2014 communicating that both Gilmour and Nelson were acquired by Fiskars. Some brand confusion ensued and apparently remains all these years later. Unfortunately, the latest version still has the same weakness in the trigger mechanism and seems to be challenged by the weight of the spring enabling the higher pressure operation. Overall, it is still a good product. The "weak link", if not present, would make it a great product.

This does not replace a power washer - but it is very effective.

Not a Nelson Product – Branding Matters to some People
Somewhat disappointed because I did not get the exact Nelson product that is advertised. It does looks very similar, however, the brand is Best Garden and on the back it says manufactured for Do it Best Corporation in Fort Wayne, IN. As indicated on Clark Farm’s review, it does look like back in 2014 Fiskars acquired Nelson/Gilmour from Robert Bosch Tool Corp. For years I have used a Nelson Industrial spray nozzle that still works to this day, but I decided to get another one. I paid extra expecting a Nelson. In addition, I have also noticed a potential weakness in the trigger shaft (semi-tubular rivet) mechanism, which will probably be the first point of failure. In all cases, if Nelson/Gilmour no longer exist or whatever else, the image of the product being sold should match exactly what is being shipped out. I still have not decided if I will return this item; I will look around and compare to other products at stores and go from there.
