If you're talking about the flimsy thin ones with the holes thru them that you can flex, that a lot of dvds seem to come with these days. These are sturdy, no holes. Think cases from 10+ years ago.... they're like that. **Q: If I try and twist the case, will it flex back and forth? Can the case support weight? Is it sturdier, like cases from ten years ago?** A: To me they seem to be like the current quality you get with new DVDs bought today. As for twisting or being sturdy, I really can't answer that. I am just always super careful with them and have never had that tested. I guess I could say they are sturdy enough to fit down tightly in a case with others and hold up pretty well, because I have stuffed as many into a plastic DVD case that I can for storage and have the cases stacked on top of each other.
