For the price, this can't be beat.
In preparation for a 5 day North Cascades backcountry trip, I needed a new lightweight tent for 2 people. My requirements were <5 lbs (including stakes and footprint), small packed dimensions, excellent ventilation and good waterproofness. I didn't want to break the bank on name brand stuff, so I rounded up the best Amazon options, and this one won out. Upon arrival, this tent satisfied my first two requirements, coming in right at ~5 lbs (if you throw away some of the stuff sacks), and much smaller than other similar tents I've had in the past. The other two requirements would have to wait for the trip to verify... After 5 days in the humid Washington wilderness, this tent proved to be both very breathable and waterproof. We experienced two nights of pretty heavy rain and the tent managed to keep everything underneath it dry, even after being put away wet the night before. Additionally, the tent also didn't show any signs of condensation underneath the rainfly during some of the colder nights (~40 F). For one night, we ended up having 3 people in this tent, and while it was a bit cramped, we all fit fine, and this tent seems to have a good deal more room than most "3-person" tents I've used in the past. All in all, this tent held up great. That said, there are a few issues that were encountered. First, the included footprint seems a little too big for the tent itself, meaning that the corners of the rainfly had to be carefully adjusted to ensure rain didn't fall onto parts of the footprint that extended out from under the tent. In mild rain, this probably wouldn't be an issue, but if wind is involved, rain might be able to make its way under the tent. Second, the poles (being all connected together by elastic cord) were a bit of a challenge to set up with one person, and the tips that fit into the tent grommets sometimes disconnected from the poles while breaking down the tent. Lastly, the floor of the tent seemed rather thin, and I imagine that heavy use would likely cause tearing in short order if care is not used. That said, all of these are minor concerns. The footprint oversize can easily be fixed with some duct tape in a pinch, as can the pole tips, and the thin floor is likely just a compromise of making a tent of such a light weight. All in all, I was very impressed with the tent's quality, weight, price and weatherproofness and firmly believe this is the best hiking tent you can buy in this price range. I would buy this again in a heartbeat and would recommend this brand to anybody else looking for a tent on the cheap!

Surprisingly durable and possibly saved us from injury.
I have used this tent on 3 trips so far. The first trip was in the mountains with temps in the 30s. The second was in the woods with temps in the high 40s/50s. The third trip was in the Great Sand Dunes while backpacking. I will speak to all three experiences. 1. The tent stayed moderately warm. I will say that I used a cheap 20 degree bag on the mountain trip, so I did feel very cold, however the tent kept us warm enough to sleep. It was a great conductor of heat when the sun finally came up in the morning! I was happy to have this tent- just unhappy with my bag. Easy set-up, easy tear-down. Overall good experience. 2. In the trip in the woods, the tent stayed plenty warm all night! It was a perfect camping trip. 3. During my backpacking trip in the Great Sand Dunes, we got caught in a thunderstorm followed by a massive windstorm/sandstorm. Since we didn’t have sand stakes, we used plastic bags filled with sand as anchors to hold the rain fly down. It worked quite well. The storms hit us very quickly, so our group of four adults only had time to set up one of our two tents. Once we got it up and settled in out of the rain, the winds became so strong and terrifying, that it was threatening to break all of the tent poles and rip off the fly. It felt like we were in tornado strength winds. Obviously we were not, however the tent served as our only protection from our vulnerability to the storm. The poles bent and the sides began to cave. The only reason the tent itself would not have blown away was due to the weight of four people and four bags instead. We spent over an hour holding the sweet spots of the tent up in order to prevent it from breaking. (We would have been stuck in a horrible sandstorm without rescue for hours had our tent gone down.) The tents of just about everyone else backpacking that night did break. We were extremely fortunate to have a sturdy tent with secure connection points during this storm. Although two of the top poles bent during the storm, I cannot believe it stayed up the whole night and that there was no other damage. I am extremely impressed with the quality and durability of this tent. Yes, all four of us did sleep in this tent that night. It was not as comfortable as sleeping 2 or 3 people, but it gave us sweet peace from the storm outside. (No water in the tent, either! Just a lot of sand...) I would buy it again, over and over!

Decent Tent!
This baby got us through our very first ever thru-hike on Catalina Island. Only 3 nights, but it provided what we needed. Not "ultralight," by any means, and we were carrying everything, but pretty easy to assemble quickly. I am 5' 9" and 135 lbs and my partner is 6 foot and 175 lbs. We cannot imagine it being three persons for people of our stature, but for kids or small people, perhaps. Still, it was a solid tent, no issues or concerns, and it kept us protected from the elements. We weren't rained on, but Parson's Landing was windy. Everything held up just fine.

Product: Cloud 3 man 20D Nylon tent (being used by 2 people) I am not prone to writing extensive reviews; however in this case it is warranted. We are outfitting ourselves for a half dozen backcountry trips (3-7days) this summer and I agonized over replacing my ultralight Kelty 2 man (steadfast, light and durable). It feels like I have looked at every tent on the market and been in and out of MEC & Atmosphere too many times trying to compare them. When it came right down to it, I just couldn't justify the prices of the MEC, MSR, North Face etc... brands so I took a flyer on this one ($255 at the time). Overall I am impressed - I went back and bought a second one actually. We have been testing it for a week in the yard - sleeping in it 4 nights, wind and lots of garden hose water & rain. I has performed without issue - we are out on our first 2 night trip in a few weeks and am confident it will perform. Set up is best done at home once (instructions? what instructions hence the 1 star knock) to get the hang of things. We have it down to under 5 minutes including staking it out. The fly, even under water pressure, stays well away from the tent itself and we have had no moisture wicking issues etc... The dome is fully screened providing plenty of ventilation. The material is slick - to the point it was almost hard to roll back up lol. The ground sheet will be something I use regardless just to ensure there is no damage to the tent floor. The zippers decent and there is one point on the door where pegging pressure could be an issue, however a little attention should mitigate this (a prior review noted them; I concur it's worth taking some care while using them). Other observations: there are four small storage pouch on the inside along with a single S hook at the front; the lash points on the tent have a reflective stripe although the cord itself is not; front and back vent openings are nice; vestibule: you can get boots under there, but not 3 packs. Weight: for those interested the tent kit came in at 1,990 grams and the tent kit + ground mat at 2,310 grams. Breakdown: poles 602g, tent 595g, fly 560g, ground mat 320g, pegs & cord 155g (pegs are 9g/pc). I realize everyone's experience will be different; however IMHO this tent is a great place to start if you are outfitting for backpacking. It is well priced, light, roomy and well made - hitting all my high notes.

I purchased the Naturehike Cloud-Up 3 with snow skirt. The tent is very spacious inside and extremely easy to assemble. The colour is nicer than expected—not actually white, but a pale grey that appears white depending on the lighting. The zips don’t run very smoothly, particularly when closing the door of the inner tent. There’s a point where the tension from the hook holding the inner tent makes it difficult to run the zip around that area. Despite the snow skirt, the tent felt cold inside —even on a windless night. I had expected the snow skirt to help retain warmth within the inner tent, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The main issue I encountered was with one of the corners in the front section of the flysheet, which forms the vestibule. It was missing the appropriate guy rope that should end in a loop for securing it to a tent peg. Instead, it had a webbing strap with a buckle clip that couldn’t be attached to anything. As a result, I had to return the tent. As usual, Amazon’s customer service was excellent and promptly refunded my purchase.
