Anne Cole Womens Solid Twist Front Shirred Bandeau Tankini Swim Top

I was very pleasantly surprised by this tankini top. I'm very picky with swim suits and have tried on and rejected many. This one fits me perfectly and feels like it's higher quality than many of the cheaper options available. I love that the pads are sewn in and not the removable ones. I only just received it so haven't washed it yet so can't comment on the longer term wear but my initial feelings are that it's pretty much perfect. I ordered a size small. I am a C cup (5'5/120lbs) so the size guide recommended a Medium BUT I have a very small under bust measurement which means that many strapless tops and swim suits don't stay up unless I get a smaller size. I'm glad I went with the small. This one isn't super tight so I'll probably wear the strap when I'm chasing my little kids around the pool just so I feel a little more secure, otherwise I don't think I'd have any slippage issues without the strap. Its very comfortable and I think the cup shape is flattering.

The purple color is absolutely beautiful. The quality is good, the style is flattering, and the support is adequate. The tummy control was good as well. I have a long torso and it was easily long enough to cover the top of the bathing suit bottom. My only complaint is that it runs at least a size smaller.

I have several of these tankinis in different colors. I bought the amethyst this time to match a Bleu by Rod Beattie swim skirt in Living Color. The color on the site is true to the color. I love the ruching/shirring in the front which camouflages your mid-section. I love the strapless look for no tan lines, but comes with straps for active swimming. Of course, being Anne Cole it's well made, so well worth full price at $60 but a steal if on sale. For reference, I am 5'6" 164 lbs, 40D bust and XL fits perfectly.

Follow the size guide in the description!! Beautiful tankini. Great material. Very flattering!! US size 8-10 is the normal size M. The sizing description for this says size 10 is a L. Follow their size chart! Two reviews below. 2023 and 2025 2025 Review: 5'3, 157, Size 10, Size M. I read reviews and saw several people said size up, and a few said true to size. I ordered black in my regular size, M, and I would have needed to force it over my head to get it on. The description says size 10 is a L. I should have followed that. I returned. Still giving 5 because it is a great tankini. 2023 Reviews: I was a size L at this time and ordered XL. I bought 3 colors and am reviewing them differently. Returned one due to it being huge in the boob area. Beautiful swim top, but HUGE in the breast area. My 36Cs didn't come close to filling the cups. I had to return. The other 2 (teal and navy) fit perfect! Great quality. Has held up washing for the last two years. Somewhat large in the boob, but I'm not falling out. Since I returned the 2025 purchase and needed something to wear immediately, I wore my XL but had to use the strap that came with it to keep it from falling down. Just follow the size chart and you should be ok.

This style and manufacture are the BEST fitting and flattering bathing suit tops I’ve ever owned. I had purchased one last year and after wearing it for a month in Aruba this past January I decided to purchase two more in fear of wearing out the first one and their not making this style any longer. Definitely buy one for yourself.
