Found the fit to be good, and it worked great

I upgraded from a Coleman 5,000 watt generator to an All-Power 12,000 watt generator and had to change the plug on my extension cord from a L14-20 to a L14-30 to accommodate the new generator. I wanted to keep the old generator and therefore I needed an adapter so that I can use the extension cord and this product fit the bill perfectly. Now I can use the extension cord on either generator.

Exactly the adapter I needed. Can use a standard generator cable on smaller unit now.

It was what I ordered and it fits. I haven’t tested it or used it under power yet.

Unexpected to need this plug to use at the start of my generator connection cable. This is a 20-amp prong to a 30-amp cable type connection. It works and completes the generator connection to the house as part of the emergency power system.

This nice little adapter save a lot of cobbling.The quality is good,and this is easy to use.

So far it seems to be up to the job but only time will tell. Overall build quality is good but seems a little pricey compared to other electrical items I have purchased over the last few months. Nice it is available and is a excellent problem solver.

Have a 30 amp generator for our whole house backup when the power fails. Have a secondary backup generator which is only a 20amp machine. Thus the the adaptor plug since the heavy duty cord from the generator to the house is rated at 30amps. Have tested this converter and works like it should.
