I love everything about this comb! At first when I got it, I didn’t realize it was double sided. I will tell you I am not a hairstylist – just an at home user. This comb has many uses. I have VERY thick, coarse, tangly (is that a word) hair. Because of the multiple rows of teeth, this is much like a brush. It goes through my hair much better than a comb with a single row of teeth. This comb is also great at spreading mousse or other hair products throughout my thick hair. So with that said, I have thick hair but my daughter has super fine, really thin hair. This comb also works amazing for her! I can get through her tangles in no time and with no whining! This comb also works great for pulling her hair into a nice slick ponytail when her hair is wet. I know this is just a comb but I am SUPER weird about the combs I use. Because my hair is thick, I have a problem where it seems like the teeth kind of ride along my hair rather than actually combing through. I could not go to my local drug store and actually find a comb that I liked to use. So I came to Amazon and thought I’d give one of theirs a try. I based my purchase off of reviews, so I thought it was important to come on her and tell you my thoughts on this. So if you have similar comb issues – I really do highly recommend this one!

Just used it and like definition it gives on my hair in the front. Hardly helps the hair in the back. Only salon stylists can get hair in the back of my head to curl up. :)

It functions just as a comb. Nothing special, I was expecting more curl definition.

I've had these for a few years now and let me tell you, they're the best thing that ever happened to my hair. I have no idea what they're made of, but unlike the knockoffs I got at Walgreens, the teeth glide through hair like no other. I use them on both wet and dry hair with no problem. My texture is dry, ranging from wavy in the front to loose ringlets in the back and is prone to getting frizzy with dry brushing, so these have been a life saver - the perfect marriage brush and comb minus the frizz! Bonus: They fit easily into your purse or clutch! My mom always swore by them for her straight hair, and I really should have tried them sooner. I've had mine for a few years now and they are all still in perfect condition with no broken teeth, unlike the similar combs I purchased at Walgreens, which have fading paint and a few broken teeth. The Walgreens combs also seem to catch in my hair and don't glide like these. I swear, they must make these Denman combs from butter or something.
