I put them together with the wood grain face plate on my controller I love the way it looks it also adds a bit of weight to the controller (its not a bad thing) I have big hands so the shotgun shells for thumb sticks raise up higher than the normal thumb pads. So someone with smaller hands like maybe a child might not be able to use it effectively.
