Wonderful!
I've needed these for many years, and didn't think to search for them. I always have opened cans of something - evaporated and condensed milk, dog and cat food, and misc. cans like cranberry sauce or canned veggies that I've been covering with aluminum foil, which never really worked and only made me think I could keep its usefulness longer. And now the answer to my prayer! I just received these and tried them on various small can tops, and they fit great! They stretch easy enough and are long and strong enough to fit the very variety of can sizes I need them for. Thank you! I'll update if I have any unexpected results from them.

Item seems like it should work in theory
Very disappointing. Item seems like it should work in theory, but the film that stretches over can is very thin. I used 2 immediately on small dog food cans that are 2.75" in diameter. I noticed a small hole in one immediately, a few mm in size. This wasn't from over stretching, but a defect. When I inspected the other lids, there were two small micro tears in two never used lids. Do not buy the product. The silicone is simply too thin to manufacture without holes and/or thin spots, let alone be capable of stretching. I thought I could get away with it since my dog food cans are smaller in diameter than std soup cans, but alas, no. A waste. I'm returning, and expect full refund.

Too big for standard drink cans
Good concept, and they probably work great for larger items (hence 2 stars rating, gave a star for concept design). But I was looking for something to prevent soda cans from spilling if tipped over after opening...and these are far too large for that. They fall right off the cans. If they were a bit smaller they might've worked great, or if I were in a country with larger standard drink cans. But here in California they are useless for soda pop cans. Update/added a star: However, they Do work well for standard Food cans... For instance they worked/fit perfectly on my canned Pineapple chunks and large soup cans (not the tiny older Campbell's soup type of cans, but the larger Progresso soup type of cans).

As advertised
These are good little stretch lids. I keep forgetting I have them though. I put them in a drawer and "out of sight out of mind". They are limited in the size of "thing" they can stretch around, but if you want to save a storage container when you use a half a can of canned food, these are perfect. Just stretch them over the top of the can and place in the fridge. You do have to clean them obviously, so you are only really saving the bottom of a container having to be washed. Some people still think modern cans have that "can" flavor and wont want to store a half can of stuff...heck some even swear they taste "can" in canned food...but modern canning cans have had liners for a long time...it is impossible for that "can" flavor to be imparted in to the food. Modern food processing standards require the packaging not "impart foreign flavors" in to the food...it's all in peoples heads. There's a lot of stuff "in people's heads"! So far these have been fine in the top rack of the dishwasher. A package of 6 was too many, but if they slowly deteriorate over time I might disagree with my own statement down the road. The only real aggravating thing is they have all these tabs/handles all around them. They dont need all of them and they can interfere with and hang up on other stuff in the fridge. I'll eventually cut most of them off with scissors.

They really work!
Absolutely love this product! Before I ordered it I was skeptical, because it looks like one of those products you order from an infomercial that doesn't actually work. But not only do these work- they work fantastically! I feel my dog some pretty nasty, stinky tripe canned food, and these take care of the smell in my fridge. They are easy on and easy off and I love them so much I plan to get more and send them to family as gifts. Love!

look elsewhere
April 17 UPDATE: all of these lids has now split. not even kidding. the last of which was in the fridge overnight on a can of dog food, untouched. when i went to take it out the next morning, the thing had split of it's own accord. there have to be better options, since these generally worked fine until moisture from fridge condensate or warmth from having heated the container before installing the lid, who knows really what caused the splitting. if i myself am not literally putting my fingers through it, they shouldn't weaken to the point that the top tears like paper. and to be honest, the rim was still in tact and i could have used it to hold foil in place. but kind of not the point if the thing only can be used 10x before failing. i truly cannot recommend these to anyone now. March 2017: at first use -- it took some finessing to use at first but now i have it down. had trouble securing to wet or warm (out of microwave) glass containers (from Crate & Barrel and whose lids warped after washing in DW), but as long as the lid is new and dry they work well & go on quickly without a fuss. but when removing from the fridge, some condensation develops and makes them impossible to reattach to the same container if either or both are damp even a little. but, they work perfectly for use with the dog and cat foot containers i need to reuse. can't speak to how well the food keeps beyond my storing 2-5 days, but these kept fresher than any pet store marketed lids.

Wish I'd bought more. Love them!
I originally got these to cover open soda cans, as I get paranoid that spiders/wasps are going to go into it if I'm drinking outside, and just leave it open, and they work great for that. I've also found a lot of other uses for them, like when my kids lost the top to their play dough tub, I just put one of these on, and on a piece of half used fruit, (which saran wrap never sticks to!). Anyway, I've quickly used up all 6 now, and plan on getting more as they are so handy, I love how stretchy they are as it means they can fit on more things and more shapes. Great product!

Love this product. I ordered these to supplement the pack of assorted sizes I've been using for a while -- while the larger sizes are useful for storing leftovers and ingredients in mixing bowls, or in giving new life to plastic boxes whose lids have been lost or damaged, we find that the smallest size gets the most use, sealing in the half-used contents of open tins. Even sealing the fizz in open soft drink cans. A quick swish in soapy water, and they're clean. What's not to like?

Just perfect for my needs. I wanted leak proof stretch lids for my glasses and drinking jar and those fits perfectly 👍 thanks!

These are fine forsmaller sizes but difficult to stretch big enough for large yoghurt pot. Can just about manage but feel they will split quickly if I use for this size.
