The market is full of cheap Chinese stuff but this Nippon product exceeded my expectations. The camera quality is surprisingly good during day and night times. Totally satisfied with the product.

Nice product

Got it from amazon for 3190 bucks. Nippon is a brand of reputation in this field and provides components to maruti as well. Looks very sturdy & finish is very nice. Lugs over all wires are of quality. Connectors & all look very fine. The rear camera is IP 67 protected that is , quite safe from rains or water ingress. The rear camera has led lights also to reverse in dark. The rear camera offers 120 degrees of field view which is pretty good but not the best, nowadays 170 degree field view is available. The resolution & picture quality is just decent not very clear or great . Also the LCD screen takes some time to appear after reverse gear is engaged like 3 seconds which is not comforting. Comes with 1 year warranty & product manual for wiring connections. Auto dimming not seen but still with reduced glare than cheap after market products. Best part is that it comes with a 18.5 mm hole saw cutter to drill hole in car body for rear camera. Still a good alternative for after market purchase. All is good in these price range

Purchase experience: I purchased this item during the diwali sale. I received this item at a fraction of cost of the current price. I also got credit card offers also over and above discounted price. Current thoughts: At current price this is a product has to be avoided. Not a value for money product. Price is on higher side and the quality is bad. A clear NO if the price is above 2000 Bad experience: I installed the item from a nearby shop. The clips got brocken after a month time. And I called Nippon service center. They told, I did not installed it from a Nippon service center and this is a physical damage, and warrenty is not valid. Good things noticed: 1. Good packaging, Good box 2. Many companies with similar names exists. People may think that Nippon is an international, well reputed brand. 3. The camera quality is ok in bright light. (but not great in anyway) 4. Got a drill bit along with it to make hole of exact size in the bumber. Disadvantages 1. Don't expect that warrenty. Clips of my display got broken after one month. The service is pathetic. They will deny warrenty at any cost. If you want take a risk and try your luck 2. Build quality is pathetic. The photo says the story. 3. The angle of view is not good. Some items will not be seen in the camera. Check the photo. 4. The rear view mirror quality is poor.Don't buy if you are a person who uses internal mirror regularly while driving.

Quality of the item is good and serves the purpose. Visibility is good and shows with different colored lines for ease of estimation of the space available

Been using this for over a year now and it has given 0 issues. Got it installed from a mechanic for ₹250. Would recommend to get this installed for those who don’t have reverse camera as it helps a lot during night.
